My dear sister,please be patient.its not your agents fault.I want to believe there's a delay cos your nin hasn't been verified by nimc and I heard that it takes about 3-4months sometimes 1year before it drops on the system due to their server.Nimc have made things very difficult for people especially those that did not register for their nin early enough.So please be patient....You can ask her if your nin has been verified.At least start from there.Best of luck

Just take all your necessary documents to them. Ask questions when in doubt. The officers there are fairly nice

It’s supposed to be 6 weeks after your capturing but maybe you’re lucky or they wanted to write 5th of August. Which of the NIS Centre did you do your capturing and is it DIY?

Question 1 - No it does not mean. AS long as there is room on a particular page, it will be stamped there. For example, my 5 year passport that expired this February only has 3.5 pages used. About 4/5 stamps on each page. Within that 5 years, I visited Nigeria twice a year. So, you can have your passport stamped as many times as possible before it expires, as long as tee is room to put the stamp. You are stamped on your in/out of Nigeria.

Question 2 - I did the 10 year on my Renewal in January at Ikoyi office. Mainly due to the stress involved with the process. Mine was fast track though and cost me 90K. I was only in Naija for 8 days, so had to do fast-track. Went there to fill form and capture on Monday, my rep called me on Thursday to come and pick it up. 20K well spent if you as me. So in my opinion, if the funds are available, it's good to opt for a 10 year passport.

It’s okay to shed tears dear. I really do feel your pain and frustration. My advice for you is that you should go online and search for Nin contacts and talk to them. They know how to make it drop. This country is full of shit. Disturb NIN first before going after your Agent. I and my Son’s passport is yet to be ready since January 2021. It will end in praise.

I will advise you get an officer to sort you out cuz from my experience so far, port Harcourt office for passport application is highly against DIY applicants. They will just fustrate the hell out of you and they don't hide it. Better go to bayelsa for DIY.

I can't refer you to anyone cuz these officers are more like "one chance". Your experience with them might be good or bad and as per documents you need, try reading backwards on this thread as this question was addressed by me recently..

they used to give out date in the past. And then u come on tht day.
Anyway the lady upstairs on 3rd floor doin verification and the fair one that sits downstairs on the servicom desk are one of the worst individuals. Never seen such corrupt ridden women before.
