When filling the questionnaire, they will ask you if you have done medicals at any IRCC accredited clinic, if you click YES, then they will bring out potion to upload your upfront medicals and not in clients informations.

But if you clicked NO, then you can attach it in the clients info. But let them know you have done it. You can make table of contents for your clients info. so that when going through table of contents, they will know e-medical is inclusive.

Not a guru though. Let the gurus guide you accordingly. All the best.

Thank you so much

You have to upload the e-Medical info sheet that they give you when you complete the medical exa, along with your application

prada1:
sorry everyone, I needed to clarify. If someone does medicals before submitting application for the SP. How will IRCC know that this person has done medicals when he eventually submit his/her application

No, you don't have to be enrolled before you travel. Enrollment letter is asked for mainly because students have started classes at their home country. If your classes or registration has not started, please take your letter of acceptance with you. Also, if you have been given admission and you have your PPR, check with your school for webinars for new students. They have all this information and you can always get clarity from the international students office.

From the info I gathered, due to Covid, you are not advised to enter Canada more than 4 weeks before classes start. So if your class starts in September, 1st to 2nd week in August is a good time to travel, so you can quarantine, if you are not fully vaccinated.

Have you traveled before from Nigeria to Canada as a student

It’s on our student portal.
All I did was download it and my classes are starting next week so I was registered

Shayee35:
Oh I see.

How were you able to get yours if your classes haven't started. Care to share, please?

Hi,
I just recently joined nairaland, and would like to ask a question. I applied for my study permit and completed my biometric on May 14 2021. I didn't submit my letter of explanation which I later found out is key in a study permit application. I graduated secondary school in July 2019 and am just applying for a visa, will this affect my application. Is it necessary for me to submit my letter of explanation as I don't have plenty gap years, and will they understand that the covid is the cause of the gap year in 2020? Will they understand or do I still need to submit it?
there is no interview for study permit so you need to submit it in order to explain your case or any doubt that you may anticipate. also ur study purpose can help convince the VO that u r a unified student

Why not be the sponsor and your brother is a co-sponsor......Doesn't that sound better? 13m is cool funds o, how many years is ur program? What's the cost per year?
that was the initial plan until we noticed he cant buy a GIC for me.Remember if he is going to act as my sponsor without providing his statement of account for 6 months, then I think its logical he makes either transfer to my account or makes payments on my behalf with evidence.so I thought since he cant pay for my GIC, then let him pay for my school fees.

Yes, this is the answer. I know the question of whether you have done medicals at any IRCC accredited clinic comes up when filling the questionaire. So you have to click "Yes" so that section to upload Medicals will be added to list.

This is an evident example. They will even inform IRCC of its CAD equivalence at the interbank market rate. Although, this is a letter issued in 2020 before the last Naira devaluation.

Currently I’m a businessman. But before I started importation business, I was IT web design and programming. Been long I left that field and I feel I’m lagging behind.

What I intend doing is to carry on with my application with university of Manitoba which I already started regardless of the outcome which looks like I have little chance cos of the age and study gap. I also want to enroll my wife for a master degree study in another school immediately. So we might as well run this process simultaneously.

Which school is best to apply for a master program?

If you have the money. Going through immigration lawyer is your best bet..... About 3,000CAD. You might even add your wife at once.

Hi Gurus in the house.

Please I’ve got an urgent question.

1. When sending academic credentials through webform, what should be contained in the body of the webform?

2. When sending my letter of explanation, should I send it as a pdf or paste it in the body of the webform?

As a young and 1st time applicant, you don't need an LOE, what you need is an SOP to tell the VO about your self and your reason for choosing to study in Canada out of all the countries in this world.. Its your SOP that will represent you before the VO as there is no interview conducted by Canadian embassy. Also I personally know of peeps that got their Visa without an LOE. So you don't really need an LOE as a 1st time applicant.. Its Applicants that got refused in their previous applications that will need an LOE to tackle the reasons for their previous refusals... But if your inner man pushes you to write, then go ahead.. You wont be debited for writing an LOE.. Peace

13m should be enough, especially if your wife is working, you need to also show that she can support herself and your child without help from you, and also GIC is no guarantee. But it will help your application to show that the money is actually available.

Add your wife's payslips and also statement of account. The VO might want to knkw how your family intend to support themselves without you.
So if your wife has a business or works, that will go a long way

ok.thanks

@ frankrobbn1, dommakavelli and other guru's please assist me. Hello everyone... I am new and I will like to understand better. Please I would like to apply for PGD In any of the colleges because I came out with a third class in my first degree ( MATHEMATICS) and I have had one or two working experience, I was doing my own business before covid-19 struck, right now with the way things are in this country I feel to travel out is the best way and also I have a PGD in ICT from NOUN. I would love a good college with ability to work and be able to apply for PR. My parents are willing to sponsor me, I will appreciate it if anyone can put me through.

Hello, pls can i get the site that show locations where the vaccine is being given. I tried using our Staff Clinic at Alausa Secretariat this week and it has been going back and forth. They told us to be coming everyday as if we are jobless. Only second doses are being administered. My brother who is a doctor has taken his own and advised me to do so too.

Thank you for the replies. Cc; LFJ11

I will ask for the document from them.

I have a 15/20 French GPA. The problem with French grades is the lack of uniformity in conversion across universities worldwide. I have also tried scholaro and it is more suited with the US market. It's conversion is different in Canada.

For example, like most US universities, Scholaro grades 14 upwards as an A, an A in McGill is 16 upwards. In Australia, an A is 15 upwards.

In Scholaro, a 13/20 is 3.0. The same 13 is a B+ (3.3) at McGill while for university of Alberta, it is their minimum grade which I take to be a 3.0. The problem is Alberta only provided the minimum grading for France. I guess I won't know until I apply.

Thank you for bringing this up. I need to have this confirmed cos if they decide to use my undergrad, I'm royally bleeped. Local man was not serious during undergraduate days. Last 4 undergrad GPA are 4.6, 2.9, 4.56, 3.08. The discrepancy is enough for them to bin my application.

Okay I understand better now. All will be well.

1. ....just a simple note notifying them that you're sending so-so-sosoliso documents in support of your application.

2. The LOE/SOP should be in a pdf format and uploaded in the section provided for attachments and not in the body of the webform.
