I have been having ED for a while now(maybe years) and I think it is caused by an infection from a time I used public toilet.

I'm not really sure when it started because there was a period (months) I absteined from sex, and during that period was when I used a public toilet. I got a girlfriend sometime last year and every time we try to have sex, I notice that I can't get an erection. Even if I get, it would not be as firm as it is supposed to be and when I start thrusting, I lose the erection in a matter of seconds or a few minutes. Sometimes she uses a hands on me so that I can get my erection back but it just keeps going down.

It's very embarrassing and disappointing, I can always see the disappointment on her face.
I've taken some herbal medications recently but me and girlfriend don't stay in the same area, so there is no way to know if the medication worked and I can't bear such disappointment again when we eventually meet up and the medication doesn't work.

Please, if there is anyone who knows a medication I can take that is sure to work or a way to find out if the one I have taken already worked, because I can't cheat on her to find that out.

It is good that you check your sugar level regularly and your blood sugar level is normal but you see diabetes is a very trickish condition, it could still slow the way the body works. Are you having relationship issue with your partner? Some ED is caused by psychological issues, emotional issues. Don't stress yourself too much, ED happens to every man once in a while please make yourself emotional balanced and please don't think about sex too much, erection will surely come just be patient. Do you have kids already? Some sex drugs have very bad side effects. Since you said your diabetes is under full control, it is fine but is your BP okay? Are you taking any pills to control BP? As some BP drugs can cause ED. Please eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Fruits like Banana and water melon are natural sex stimulants also chocolate too. Try to engage in Kengel exercise to tighten your pelvic floor muscles. Read about Kengel exercise on the internet and try to engage it it. Do more of aerobic exercises

I don't have any relationship issues, I dont take any blood pressure drugs, I don't have kids.

I replied someone here as to why I think mine is caused by an infection because after having sex with my girlfriend she didn't see her period when she was supposed to and she isn't pregnant plus I just believe I'm too young to be having all these problems you mentioned above
