With a little confidence, they can at least have a goal attempt. A good ball to iwuala can get them that

a lot of work needs to be done with our soccer in Nigeria. we have not learned the science and the art of the game. we need training and retraining of our coaches from the grassroots up. the boys are basically just using their strengths and physicality

It is much more than training. How much are their clubs paying them? Are they even well fed?

I'm reading some Spanish tweets and the Mexicans are disappointed we didn't bring our European based players.

but we play against many african countries where sometimes some players still play amateur football but they still put up decent performances. The homebased guys should be putting up a better peformance. I am not saying they should win but haba, we should be able to string passes together now.

These boys have really tried after those 4 minutes of stage fright, they have found their way into the game.
They created 2 very good chances which were blocked by the defenders. I was impressed by the midfield short passes.
All that is needed is for the midfielders to spot the run of our left-back and thread those long passes or through balls to him.
Iwuala should be calm on the ball no need to rush just play your game.
Good job Boys!

Home base, ... Home base!

See how these are embarrassing us

Can't do the basic things

Poor controls

Poor inaccurate passing everywhere

Can't even mark very well, so disjointed

They are not even used to good pitches, just falling over everywhere

See olise Ndah giving atrocious passing all night

Now I am very much seeing the big gulf between foreign based and home based

Many of these fools won't even pass trials

And these are supposed to be our NPFL best this season so far

Clowns everywhere

My half time observation
1. The Guy with Dreads at the Back is very bad. Most of is passes are always wayward.
2. The midfield dey try.
3. The Keeper dey try.
4. Iwuala is a baller. He just needs some refinement.
5. The other guy at the other wing is poor.
6. The Guy pairing Ndah at the back is Good.
7. The guy playing left back is a calamity.
