The Lagos state police command has paraded several protesters arrested on Saturday in Ojota area of the state for participating in a rally calling for the break-up of Nigeria.

POLITICS NIGERIA earlier reported that officers from the Lagos command fired teargas and water cannons to disperse the protesters. The protesters had convened for what they branded 'Yoruba Nation rally', calling for the breakup of the country and an independent state for the Yorubas.

The protesters also expressed displeasure at the raid on the home of its leader and activist, Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as 'Sunday Igboho'. Below are photographs of the arrested protesters paraded by the command on Sunday afternoon.

Most Nigerians are very stupid seriously

You know how dangerous it is to protest in Nigeria, yet you embark on such dangerous mission that you already know the outcome, later ,those who devicieved you will be online calling UN, USA,UK, HTC,GSM..LOLZ while chilling in their comfort zone leaving you helpless under police brutality......

How many of these protests have yielded positive result in the past? Use your head before them go use am 4u.

Whenever prominent Nigerians come out for protest, just know that it is for sincere course and you can join, example is protest against subsidy removal in January 2012.

What Buhari forgot to say was that the Yoruba nation is a dot inside another dot in the circle. Also he forgot to say that the bigger Circle is called Fulani Nation

As an Africa leader, if you can
1. Instill fear in the masses, (you can do this by arresting – or killing – anyone seen Protesting on the street – doesn't matter what they are protesting about).

2. Keep your governors and their stooges in check by Bribing them or blackmailing them so they keep their mouths shut.

Also do the below

Cnach:

We have three main tribes, and none of them can unite with the other. What U do is to appoint persons from one tribe to your government so that they can be defending u and putting confusion to the remaining two who can never unite to match out for something meaningful.
As for the governors? Just promise each of them that they are going to take over from u.

Then you are good to go

and they think the Yorubas will really survive if the country breaks up, ibos own is at the other corner..Some Nigerians really don't have work to do... its easy to build but hard to bring together what is broken.. we should always put this country in prayer for peace , this shouldn't be expected from citizens of this country even though the country is kinda bad

This is a case of master and slave or husband and wife so therefore, Igbos should keep off. Allow the master to speak the language the slave will understand.
Baba dey sierra Leone dey flex his life jeje Una dey here dey disturb peace of the masses.
Pls master should take it easy on his slave.

Well no way would have the Biafran army invaded Lagos. That infact was Ojukwu's defeat trying to annex Yoruba to his territory.
But you're right though. The best time to divide was 1967-1970. Nigerian remains. Good leadership is what can save us though.

WHY AFONJA AND DOT REPUBLIC CANNOT LEAVE NIGERIA

1. They are not United
2. They are stingy and greedy
3. Betrayal flows in their blood
4. They are always hungry
5. Their àboki master's knows their weak point
6. Their àboki master's are friends of the British

Imagine how someone like joe igbokwe celebrated kanus rearrest, that's tells you that a dot man can say anything against his brother for a pot of portage.
Imagine the bullion van mogul and evil spirit in chief saying that omoluabis and àbokis are one even while his kingsmen are now refugees in benin republic. That's tell you the nature of an omoluabis.

Wait o, those who are pushing for osibanjo to be the next president, what are your reasons?
1. Has he ever speak against grazing routes?
2. Has he ever call for arrest of fulani herdsmen?
3. Does he has the will to amend the 1999 constitution for good?
4. All he does is keep quiet waiting for the presidency to fall on him on a platter of gold.
5. All he does is travel to the north to romance for favour.
6. He is trying to make us believe that he will do better when he becomes president but our elders says, a tree that will produce good fruits is know from it's early stage.

A man who needs political power for the sake of having it does not deserve it.
Youths rise up and say no to this people! Reject their offer, they will never change.

This is the beginning of the end. Buhari should continue to write his name in sand of time. We know how his likes like Gadaffi, seseseko and Samuel Doe ended. He is a student of history but failed to learn because of his dementia. The agitation for self actualisation has started and nothing on earth can change that. I love the sagacity of these people. Nobody sends Buhari again. We all know how he will end alongside his cohorts.
