Life Lager Beer has been endorsed by prominent Anambra traditional rulers as the most consumed alcoholic beverage in the state and the entire south east.

The endorsement was the major highlight at the Onwa Agwu Cultural Festival; a traditional event that mirrors and celebrates the ancestry and cultural history of Nrị, the cradle of Igbo civilization.

The Nigerian Breweries Plc has stood strongly for so many years as the brewer of historic alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages of which Life Lager is an age-long name among them.

Thus at Nrị; the ancestral head of Igbo origin, people from different paths of life came together to endorse Life Lager beer as the leading alcoholic beverage in Anambra State and South East.

The endorsement of Life Lager at the event was also replicated with names such as Onyeze also known as Mmanya Oganiru.

Performing the function, the Chairman, Anaocha Traditional Rulers' Council and the Traditional Ruler of Neni, Igwe Onwuamaeze Ezeani, said that Life Beer brand is the best for Ndị Igbo and urged the manufacturers not to relent in extending in its coperate social responsibility.

In their remarks, the Regional Business Manager, East, Nigeria Breweries Plc, Mr Austin Aka and the Corporate Affairs Manager, East of the firm, Lady Joy Egolum, said that the aim of the endorsement from Nri Ancient Kingdom was to let all Igbo people know that Life Beer is the king among other beer brands and commended the Nri Ancient Kingdom for welcoming them.

Dignitaries at the event included the President General Nrị Town Union, Chief Kelvin Obiegbunam, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Anambra Broadcasting Service, Dr Uche Nworah, Portfolio Manager, Mainstream Lager, Mrs Kehinde Kadiri, among other personalities from both the firm and host community.

Investiture on Life Beer with Aká (traditional Igbo beads) and a red cap, both singifying Igbo royalty and grandeur, and cultural displays by different dance groups in Nri Ancient Kingdom made the event worthwhile.

Another angle to the project is getting an internationally renowned firm to manage this beautiful massive international airport. Government ministries should never be allowed to near the management of this great facility. Proper aviation managers should have been contacted by now. Orient petroleum should also be part of the management
