Anyways since its a harmless question, lemme answer it in a harmless way.

If Nnewi says they are Benin and they're using Oba of Benin title, does that implies that the whole Anambra are Benin people?

In rivers, is the whole rivers state Ijaws? Or Ikwerre? Or Igbos?

In Delta, just because The Asaba People are Igbo, does that implies that the whole delta state are Igbo people?

This thing is logic and common sense, its only 1 town (ilorin) that has emir, there are thousands of towns in Kwara even after Ilorin that uses Oba as a title.
Gosh
Nice one but there are other ethnicities in Kwara too. The Fulani, Nupe and the Bariba people. And the Etsu Nupe (formerly Emir Nupe) is a Fulani. So Kwara is not a totally homogeneous state although it has overwhelming Yoruba population.

Yes there are other ethnicities.
Ain't from Kwara but my stay in Kwara made me to know that Kwara TV reads news in 7 languages sha.

Tho Yoruba people should constitute around 70% (if not more) of the population.

They have 12 of the local government out of 16.

Reason why all the governors from 1999 are Yoruba people.

We need to tell ourselves the truth. When will states stop outdoing themselves, building a "world class hospital" that is poised to stop medical tourism? We've had this mantra several times. Ondo state, Akwa Ibom state, Kano and Ebonyi states (in the pipeline I think) and so on.
It still doesn't stop our president, the number 1 citizen (or other politicians for that matter) from jetting out of the country for their health's sake.
I'm aware of an International Cancer Center, Abuja built many years back and I'm sure they sang this national anthem too, but it is now an abandoned project.
Just build a good hospital for your people and commission it quietly. The other part is paying workers enough to man the operation. These are the issues.

Well let me tell the little I know.
It's actually not the whole of Kwara. It's mostly Ilorin (though there are some other parts of Kwara that have other ethnicities as well).
Ilorin was part of the old Oyo empire. It was ruled by an Alafin-installed governor named Afonja who was a great warrior. After some time came Hausa and Fulani settlers who were legitimately going about their businesses.
Then Afonja, drunk with power, wanted to become King (an independent ruler) and be free from Oyo. He then sought the help of the local Fulani ruler named Salih Janta, also called Shehu Alimi. Alimi came with his host of mainly Fulani fighters (Nupes and Hausas were also part of the crew) and went to war with the Oyo state. Afonja declared independence and Oyo responded. After some unsuccessful attempts to take Ilorin, the Alafin gave up. Afonja then lead Ilorin for a short stint.
Down the line, the Fulanis and others who came with Alimi started misbehaving and were no longer abiding by the laws of the land, neither were they loyal to Afonja. Prior to this time, it was said that Afonja had given many positions to Alimi and his team often sidelining his own people that has been with him. It was said that Afonja was warned about Alimi but because of his drive for power, he shut out many of his guys and agreed to Alimi's terms. Later on, there were many rifts between Alimi's people and Afonja's people which led to a rebellion against Afonja and the fulanis sought to dispose him. Many of Afonja's generals did not lift a hand in anger and Afonja fell. The Fulanis set up an emirate under Alimi's son and it has been like that till date.
However in the ruling council, there are Yoruba kingmakers and even the family/descendants of Afonja - the Mogaji Aare. But in all, the leadership of Ilorin rests with the sons of Alimi.
The Fulanis are like the Aro in Igboland (for those who know Igbo history).
Thank you for this..

And lastly.
Emir is an Arabic or Muslim title for a leader not a Fulani title

My town oba can decide to be using Pope title if he wishes, does that implies that he's a Jewish or Italian or whatever?
Why the heavy use of sarcasm?..I get your point though..

seborrhic:
Radiation machine cost ₦1.5b converted,2 other other machines like MRI,linear accelerator would easily be up to ₦1billion converted.
It's a laudable move, but ₦2.5billion cannot in anyway build a truly best in West Africa cancer centre unless it's just the physical building and aesthetics they mean.
made in China no cost reach that amount

Most people do not know this and that is why when they hear a state wants to spend 35Billion on a teaching hospital, they will say is too expensive.

There is town called Ilorin and there is a state called Kwara State.

The two are not the same.
Try to use your time to learn some history.

Someone should please tell me how Kwara ended up a Fulani Emirate complete with a Fulani Emir when the vast majority of the indiegenous population are ethnic Yorubas??..Swears,there's nothing tribalistic about this question.I've always been curious about this for years..

Ok.But my point is let them not still use that old scheme of hyping what is not.Information is easily available online now .
By conservative estimation,a truly world class oncology centre would cost nothing less than $15million (₦7.5billion to set-up).

Per adventure the governor gets cancer, upon all the hype, he won't near that place. He'll still travel abroad for treatment

We are in trouble with the public's knowledge of what it takes to develop this country....
Because our Governor's build houses for ridiculous amounts, can't we reason that when we build ourselves it's always lot cheaper?

See link below: no radiation (I believe you meant xray machine NEEDS TO COST ₦1b. You'd get one even ₦6m haba!!!)
We need to be well researched to properly question these rouge politicians ruling us o....

Reasons for quoting that message go beyond this rubbish you wrote. It is people like you that make government projects to be more expensive. Is it not fellow Nigerians like you that inflate the bills? As for this rubbish link you posted, I hope your foolishness will make you know that, for a government to make those orders, they will need to contact the manufacturers or their representatives directly for after-sales repair and spares? Even with the inflated bills from people like you, still, you think building a world-class teaching hospital and equipping it, that 35 billion naira is too much?
To even have state-of-the-art cooling in the theater of a hospital, how much is it? Take your time!!!
