What do you expect the recruiting team to base their decision on? CV and credentials? Who does that for an advertised recruitment? When it's not replacement or internal placement. Even if it's 1 minute chat, there must be a precedent stage to APL collection unless if all slots will be shared to guys with connection.

Who does interview help? Interview is usually subjective in nature. There are millions ways of selecting good candidates without interview. As for the Newcastle2023, the man beyonds someone who will just use anybody to catch cruise. By God grace our APL is in pipeline.

At the end of the day, who said what wouldn't matter, because the recruiters have the final say. So why bother at all? If e sure for you, great, if you are uncertain about your stand in this recruitment, why not put it in prayers and be hopeful. These back and forth information and arguments have to stop

Good you waited for people to sleep before you dropped this . Good attempt on cruise. First off, NCDMB doesn’t have DG; it’s ES (you’re welcome). And, that you call your source “very reliable” doesn’t make it so.
I don’t know if the process is cancelled or not, I hope it’s not. But if there’s any suggestion that that’s the case, then it should be something more than just “very reliable source”. Shey cancellation should be a secret too?

More than 12 persons at different times have posted about the cancellation, they can't all be catching cruise.
We are hoping to hear from them soon, but don't discredit any who said the recruitment have been cancelled, so far they have been the most consistent.

NCDMB invested so much on the recruitment and as such cannot just wake up and cancel a recruitment they budgeted and spent so much money for tests to be conducted twice..How will they explain the fact that funds were approved but the recruitment was inconclusive.

Guyz lets stop being gullible to accept any info we see here cos we r desperate for good jobs..Subject every info to critical assesment before passing ur judgements..

The exercise is being stalled to allow room for proper reconciliation of all stakeholders interest on the recruitment.. Even federal character cannot stall the exercise as long as due process is being followed..Also if u follow the agency's handle on social media u will see that almost everyday the ES and other principal officers of the board are always busy with activities..Could be their schedule doesnt permit them to revisit the recruitment..But certainly we will here from them

Also with the various partnerships and oil/gas projects scattered all over the country and with the passage of the PIGB bill, companies will begin to develop their assets that were stalled by the abeyance of the bill..This means more hands will be needed and there will be massive employment for people..NCDMB also need more workforce to monitor the affairs of these companies regarding local content compliance...

So lets be patient..u will wake up one morning to see a mail from them for the next stage or invit for your APL

I said it 3 months ago that this recruitment has been cancelled and some people came here to say we will hear from them next week. It’s been 3 months now. Believe what you want to believe. The NCDMB requested for a certificate of compliance (in this case) to carry out some recruitment which was granted by the FCC (Federal Character Commission) for a particular period of time, within which everything concerning the recruitment must be finalized. Unfortunately, or fortunately for some, the recruitment couldn't get to completion as envisaged by the ES and his team due to a lot of conflicting interests. The FCC, which wasn't favored enough (in their own way) swiftly released a memo reminding NCDMB that the grace period was over thereby rendering the whole process invalid. So the people here saying the recruitment was cancelled were right in their own way. It was cancelled over 3 months ago.

For the recruitment to continue or take place again, NCDMB will have to write to the FCC seeking waiver/certificate of compliance again. And trust me, this time around the FCC would want to flex all its powers before granting such (you know black man nah). You may not get to know when that happens because, this time around the recruitment will be done in a low-key, making sure to represent crucial interests if it must get to completion.

I know how it feels to be in suspense that's why I took my time to drop this. I won't get to answer any follow up questions or PM requests. Peace...
