They are the commission that should ensure federal government jobs are distributed evenly to the indigenes of the 36 states including fct but people suspects they are not functioning and that's why you see lopsidedness in federal establishments.

Federal character commission has been silent the way Senate and Judiciary axed by cabal


I always say, it's not constitution that has problem persee' but political leader, if a card carrying APC member can be forwarded to senate as INEC commissioner, no constitution can ever work if the president is a corrupt minded

For days now I can't post any news on Nairaland.
Whenever i try to this is the reply i get:

Their core purpose is to make sure that every tribe and region is equally represented in every parasatal, ministry, military or paramilitary institution in this country. But Buhari with his nepostic behavior has buried the commission. They are just collecting free salary and pension there.

As in there are some organisation in this country that operates as if they don't exist.
Every one of them have been compromised.

they are to check and ensure the above across every geo-political areas/zones.

e.g certain number of qualified native from the Southsouth region can and should be employed in all Federal government parastatals e.g FIRS in Sokoto and vice versa.

Federal character commission is filled with persons mostly from a region on Nigeria.

These persons has departed from the fundamental objective of the commission and now ensures that persons from their region are mainly benefits and recruited into federal jobs.

Thats why people from a region dominates all federal ministries and mdas

Buhari has destroyed everything.
Northern are heading 96% of security and federal agencies.
They only allowed quota system but destroyed federal character.
Hunger is ravaging Nigeria’s on a daily.

Also, that’s where you officially submit your complaints on federal character violations, instead of posting for likes and shares on Nairaland or blowing useless grammar wey no help your local government on Facebook and WhatsApp. Keep copies of your petition(s) for future reference and possible litigation.
