Is the IELTS that difficult to pass?
Do you know how brit speaks their English style? Your normal English may not give you 7-9.5 pointers. It is easy as difficult.

Lot of Nurses in Nigeria have been getting such visa these days. I am not in a position to say if it is a step up or step down for you. However, you are a professional, if the visa will permit you to switch to proper nursing later, I think it will be fine, otherwise, you may be frustrated doing a lower cadre job. Try to learn about it if it leads to citizenship as well and evaluate all the hidden conditions attached. My 2 cents

I don't think such visa permits you to change from nursing assistant to a nurse which is a step down for me. The visa is usually 2 to 3 years but the Op can do some research though.

Hello people.
Please i need your advise on this.
I am a nurse here in Nigeria and i have been trying to migrate to Uk for a nursing job position. i know about the whole process of writing CBT and IELTS. My problem is that i am stuck in IELTS.. I have not passed it yet. i have been trying since 2017 and i have written it 6 times. They cost money as well.

Recently i got a Homecare Job (nursing assistance equivalent) in Uk. I am suppose to sponsor my self to uk unlike the normal NMC UK employment that will sponsor you.

I intend to take the homecare job and travel, when i get there, i will book the cbt and IELTS again. Hopefully, if i pass it, i will registered as a nurse there. At least i will be working and preparing for it.

Please anyone in the house with experience to share concerning settling down as a home care nurse. do you encourage me to do so or i should just decline it and continue writing the IELTS and cbt until i pass it and then register with NMC UK and look for proper nursing Job.. Please i need your advise.

thanks.

UK is a glorify Nigeria , though better than Nigeria. Read harder , write the exam, register, practice for two and head to USA or best Australia.

Your family will not be poor again and the Fulani herdmen will not kidnap you. You will never hear lies from lie Mohammed etc

Just come and enjoy your life in Australia and never come back like am doing. Will never come back to Nigeria again. I have vowed
So.

And you think what they do in care home is not proper nursing?
What is wrong with you guys?
Already looking down on his so called job?
Most private care homes pay more than NHS and some nurses leave govt hospitals where the so called proper nursing is done to these care homes.
You guys are very hopeless.
Imagine calling a job that will give him millions in Nigerian current currency a low cadre job.

How much is he making in Nigerian govt hospital a Yr where he works as a proper nurse?
Shove your useless 2 cent into your anal orifice.
It's not needed.

1. IELTS just open a center in makurdi Benue. Try and register there as fast as possible, there will be high chances of passing the exam as a first timer.

2. Share your contact with me to link you up with Nigeria Nurses already working in UK. They will give you the best advice and guide on how to go about relocation and nursing jobs in the UK.

Why wasting your time on language test when you can apply for Bsc Nursing in US schools with IELTS waiver, with opportunity to work and school. You can also continue to live in US as you progress in your academics.
You can also get international loans to fund this academics before travel.
Pls don't waste the precious time oooo.
Also nothing is wrong if you go on this new offer but be sure not scam.

IELTS is not difficult to pass. You don't even need to register for training, except you're very lazy. I found a very useful website called ieltsliz. Her lessons are topnotch.

I'm not the owner, but I will recommend her any day. Best of luck!
