Monsterverse and Kombat aren't billion dollar generating franchises. Although, Monsterverse has the potential to deliver such, if WB continue to develop it.

I'm just hoping things pan out. I'll be closely looking at TSS to see how the future pivots.

Back in which game? DC has always been at the bottom with their inconsistent decision making. For example, the decision to mix poorly rated CW shows with the movies is a complete disaster. They are trying to use the movies to give their Berlanti-TV shows credibility. Who does that?

I think part or a major cause of the problem is this:
WB are now overdependent on DC to deliver the goods in the box office. DC is the only surviving big franchise still in the game now and able to do billion dollars pull over.

No LOTR, no Harry Potter~ Fantastic Beasts is underperforming and too sparse release. Look at other studios. Conjuring is still a midsized fish in an ocean.

Disney has Disney, Pixar, MCU and Star Wars. Universal has Jurassic World, Fast and Furious, Illumination to fall on to. Sony has Jumanji, Spiderman. Paramount has Mission Impossible and Transformers (although out of commission for now). If you look at these, they are franchises with billion dollars return still waxing strong. Animation that WB would have developed competency in, they totally abandoned that genre for Disney and Universal.

WB has only DC, for now. Fantastic Beasts sef is until next year. That's the reason the whole focus is on HBOMax now and they didn't mind sacrificing movies for the streamer to shine this year.

PS: my opinions tho, I might be wrong. That's just my own deductions.

I really don't see it that way. Credibility or not, people who will watch CW verse would still watch no matter who shíts on it. Case in point ~ our dedicated friend Nani667.

The bigger picture I see is, they're trying to bring the Arrowverse fans along to join the bigger DCEU fandom. Believe it or not, Arrowverse has its cult following and has a sizable fanbase. In DC after the Snyder fans section, the next biggest sub-section I can think of is CW.
That way people who like CW and don't like DCEU "Dark, gloomy" style will feel more involved in the projects.
Believe it or not Arrowverse shows are popular than some DCEU films.

LOTR and Harry Potter are billion dollars franchises. A movie from these franchises can easily generate $1 billion.

Most of WB movie franchises made their fame and money during the early 2000s to 2012/13. One thing in life is that you can't always be on the top forever. Even disney was nowhere during this period until the 2009/2011 with Marvel and star wars.

Right now, WB has to gradually bring back these same franchises again which I believe they are doing.

As for conjuring being a midfish is totally wrong as the Conjuring verse is one of the most profitable movie franchises out there.

It is obvious that most of us (fans) are really the course why WB likes taking childish decisions aswear.
How could you even compare DCEU (even if it's not stable) to Arrow-verse for God's sake!!!
There is no correlation between them sef. They are like a parallel line ( that are not even suppose to meet anyway) if not for WB dumb ideas.
Story-wise, costumes-wise and even VFX-wise they are at million miles afar, so bringing that CW garbage into their big screen was a bad idea for me. HBO's DC content will even be far better, if at all they think of such.
Lets just take a cue from Disney on what they are doing with MCU and Star Wars, you can hardly differentiate its series from its big screen movies because of their sizeable budgets - no difference from both. In fact, shows like Mandalorian and few upcoming ones are visually and story-wise on par with their big brothers.

Illumination from Universal has movies with over a billion dollars gross. You know Wetin Minions dey generate. F9, you know the billions wey only one film don generate back to back for the past 4/5 yrs. Jurassic World, you know the billions. One film don hit $2bn if I'm correct.

Sony has Spiderman with $1bn. Jumanji with over $900mn. Jumanji still has potential for over a Billie as long as they keep producing.

The only one not a billion is Paramount's Mission Impossible. Still they got Transformers, automatic billion dollars grossers.

CW still has a decent show and good VFX — Stargirl. ooh forgot, Superman and Lois.
Doom Patrol and Swamp Thing from DC universe has shown they can bring quality, visually and plotwise.

Titans keeps delivering very good costumes.

Dude, when it comes to WB I am inclined to believe whatever is said about them. That was how it started with other DC films...they ended up being true. There's no smoke without fire. WB created the image whereby whatever is said now about their production is believed.

You can easily see through the below par standard vfx used for those series if compared to their big brothers. But that can hardly be said of The Mandalorian to Star Wars, or Falcon and The Winter Soldier to Captain America: The Winter Soldier - no much difference...
Moreover, the connection is even more closer to those garbage CW's shows like The Flash and Supergirl than to Doom Patrol or Titans sef.....
