TROOPS NAB BOKO HARAM INFORMANT
…..Repel attack on Katarko Village Yobe State

Troops of Sector 2 Joint Task Force OPERATION HADIN KAI have today Thursday 8 July 2021 nabbed a notorious Boko Haram/ ISWAP informant, carrying out espionage activities on troops in the general area of Katarko village of Yobe State. The gallant troops also repelled an attack on Katarko village.

During preliminary investigation, the informant identified as Abor Kawu confessed to have monitored and disclosed troops' location and movements to the terrorists. He also revealed that more Boko Haram collaborators were deployed in the general area to spy on the troops. Following this revelation, troops of Sector 2 have been placed on red alert and effort is ongoing to unravel the network of informants within the general area.

Commending the troops of Sector 2 for their vigilance and tenacity, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya charged them to flush out Boko Haram/ISWAP elements in the area. The COAS also urged law abiding citizens to continue to avail troops with credible information to enhance their operational efficiency in order to flush out criminal elements who are concealed in the commuities.

The VAT at 7% is still low bro.
Increasing our tax to GDP ratio means reducing tax evasion, revenue leakages, widening tax net and not just by increasing tax rate.
I don't know why it's so hard to do, Even many African countries have moved towards this path but we are still stuck with resource based revenue.
Ok, i understand. Many African countries are still backward in this context, because of lack of political will. They are too focused about inter party politics

That speed is just too much. Sometimes the military uses such speed even within community areas. The Security forces needs to also caution its drivers on speed limit especially within community areas.

RIP Gallant men embarassed

Guys watching US posture and speech earlier this evening by President Biden on Afghanistan issue. I can confidently tell us all the U.S is nothing but trash!

All agitators should better come together and build our country than crying to those mofo's to aid them.. The U.S only use and destroy..

I pity the Afghan people, the world should prevent U.S and it's ally countries from invading any nation in the future.

COAS ASSURES WOUNDED PERSONNEL OF COMMITMENT TO THEIR TREATMENT

The Chief of Army Staff Lt Gen Faruk Yahaya has reitrated Nigerian Army’s (NA) commitment to giving prompt attention to the medical needs of wounded officers and soldiers at the 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.

The COAS gave the assurance today Thursday 8 April, 2021 while visiting wounded personnel in the hospital. He expressed appreciation for their sacrifice to the nation, adding that the NA is doing everything possible despite the challenges of the Covid - 19 pandemic to provide them with adequate treatment in order to hasten their recovery.

He also disclosed that all arrangements have been concluded for personnel that require medical treatment abroad to be flown out, especially for those that need plastic surgery and prosthetics.

Lt Gen Yahaya further stated that arrangements are ongoing to build a state of the art facility in the hospital for the production of prosthetics for personnel who lost their lower limbs in service to the nation. He disclosed that the ongoing effort is in partnership with some foreign experts from Germany.

According to him, the partnership will not only hasten the provision of such artificial body parts, but also save the army the huge cost of moving the personnel abroad for treatment. He pointed out, that some of the delays being witnessed in actualising this partnership is as a result of the Covid - 19 pandemic.

During a tour of the hospital wards, the COAS made token donations to all the in-patients to further boost their morale.

The COAS was later given a brief by the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the hospital, Colonel Steven Onuchukwu on the achievements and challenges of the hospital. Responding, the COAS, expressed commitment to ensuring that the challenges of the hospital are adequately addressed to cater for the medical needs of personnel.

Sorry just saw this now.
Sorry bro that would be somehow classified, for so many reasons by the NA HQ Authorities.
But let me give you a rough estimate, I'll say close to an 100,000 soldiers.
This is my own assumption huh
