Fela has given us the manual of Afrobeat, so what Burna did was to use that manual and sample some rhythms and melodies from Fela's sound to get his. He did it perfectly with lots of modifications to get his and it earned him a Grammy. This is to say, he is among the top 3 smartest musicians in Nigeria.

This is how pastors use the already made manual called the Bible to preach just as Burna is using Afrobeat manual to sing.

Do u know what it takes to cook a beat from scratch with each individual sound and harmonise them to come out perfect. Good producers can influence the style of any artiste and vice versa. You no know wetin be music. You got no ears man..

Apologies.. Got no ears or being deaf is not an insult tho. They're terms we use when making beats.. learnt along the way. You either have it or u don't. How can the copy cat be better than the original? Burna was a musical failure with dancehall until he started stealing Fela's lyrics. FACTS. Burna boy is not even the best in his generation. I am no fan of Wizkid but Wizkid is far more influential musically than Burna. Now, the previous generation of 2baba, Dbanj, Psquare etc. Burna never even reach that level. Psquare also copied their style from Usher but Psquare was far more influential musically (in Nigeria and Africa) than Burna. Burna is overrated.
