Anyone used starling, monzo or revolut. Which one did you prefer?

I use all 3........ grin

Revolut is good, if you also intend to buy shares, commodities and cryptos + ease of international money transactions (£ to $ to €).........

Monzo is good for account organisation and pays you good interest, for a combined balance of £2K...... You also get free device and travel insurance, with Monzo premium......

Plus discounted RAC breakdown cover and a host of others (but the aforementioned, are all I use)......

Starling is also good, plays a backup for me (an account I can hide money, I don't want Madam to see)........ Till I confess...... cheesy

Most importantly, Please can u recommend a school for 3 $ 5 years old around Hathaway dagenham.

Places to avoid.

There's nothing wrong with Dagenham about 20 years ago it used to be the headquarters of racist BNP but now the Blacks and Eastern europeans have taken over. Just like anywhere in London you will get good and bad spots. When you do a search on anywhere in London you will be scared but its not as bad. Stay away from the council estates. It also depends on the kids and you will feel at home because Barking is not too far and there are loads of African stuff.

Dagenham is also one of the cheapest places to buy or rent a place in London.

You have the showcase cinema and some other entertaining spots for bowling , racing etc

They are top of the range builders and their houses are on the expensive side. Lets just say that while Barrats is your Lidl, Bloor is your Waitrose.

My experience of the whole Barking/Dagenham area might be a bit out of date since I haven't been there since 2017, but I shouldn't think it would have changed magically in those years. I had an uncle who used to live there and I used to spend time with him on holiday, but he's dead now and my cousins sold up. He was one of those who came over in the 70s and all that and liked the place and never really left.

To the best of my knowledge, that area is typical of east London, so it is what it is. Like most of that area it's very ethnically diverse, which is good, you get your African food and all that quite easily. I remember that there are (or were) lots of the east Europeans there, fond of making noise. If you're coming to live in London and want cheaper housing, well, that is among your options, so you make the most of it and look forward to moving on up.

Hello NLs
I have an issue that I can't wrap my head around.I came into the country towards the end of last year on tier 4.I applied for jobs and got several rejections ,so I joined an agency which gives me job as they have ,of which my 20 hrs is not even sure.I continued applying for jobs as I wanted a company that I will fixed with my sure 20hrs.
I got one that invited me for interview and I attended and was subsequently sent an invitation for induction and for final check on RTW.Now today they are sending me a message that unfortunately they cannot move my application to interview stage etc.
Please I am confused as per why they will send for induction and take it back and are they discriminating against international students on Tier 4 or what. This is really getting to me.
Please all advise

If they don't want to proceed with your application, then accept it and move along.
It doesnt necessarily mean they are discriminating against those with Tier 4, even though some employers may see your visa's January end date and feel you will need sponsorship and so forth and don't want to get into all that.

Shake it off and continue looking. Do not let it or things like that get to you. It's a jungle out there and only the strong survive.

- Call the bank with your registered number, if that call goes unanswered, they would send you a feedback message
- Pots organisation structure
- Ability to buy shares, cryptos, commodities, within fintechs exchange
- Higher interest rates payments (if you are risk aversed)....... cheesy
