You don’t have to book a 2 way trip ......this period, some students keep asking if they should book a 2 way trip, I really don’t know who distributed that information to them.....

Good morning,

Work Towards going for a Thesis-based (research) Masters in Biochemistry so you can stand a chance of getting a Fully-funded (scholarship) Masters degree in a Canadian university/universities cos here is really no cheap institution in Canada, financial readiness is extremely essential.

That being said, take your time and study the contents in the link below, relate to your area of study for masters and put it into action against 2022.

See the link below for

Good luck!
Thanks sir, I really appreciate your response. I graduated with second class upper (4.06/5.00) and I have letter of English proficiency but I don't have GRE( I don't know if it's needed). Please can you tell me the documents I need to apply for scholarship and give me links to apply for the scholarship. Sincerely, I am not financially buoyant to fund my masters so I will appreciate if you can put me through in how to get scholarship. This is my WhatsApp number 09045380650

Thank you CHIKACIC. does the vaccine have any mild reaction? Is it still possible to received the first dose and what days is it administered?

Thanks.

From my personal experience, side effects depend on individuals. But common ones are high fever/temperature; headache and body pains, especially at the site of the injection. So, have a pain reliever handy like paracetamol.

Do ensure you eat before taking the vaccine and also find out the name of the vaccine being administered to ensure that it is one of the vaccines approved by IRCC.

The rest of your questions can be answered at the center you choose for vaccination.

Hope this helps.

You are welcome.

Nice CGPA you got there but it ain't only about CGPA, some other essential intellectual packaging is highly required of you cos getting a FULLY-FUNDED GRADUATE opportunity in Canadian Universities is damn competitive, its no rocket science, though tasky, reason why you should take your time and go through my previous response to you, there are Step-By-Step guides there.

You don't need GRE, GRE is mostly required by schools in the U.S.

Most Canadian Universities waive IELTS for Nigeria since its an English Speaking Country, so if they ask for any Proof of English Language proficiency from you, your LETTER OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY would suffice

As regards documents needed, read the contents in this link, you would see them there and other useful information

Also, If you are on Twitter, follow Dr. Olumuyiwaayo Igbalajobi, all you need to get a Fully-funded graduate offer is on his PINNED POSTS, go through them all and put it into action.

@Linana, please after the mandatory three days quarantine at a government approved hotel, can one complete the 11 days quarantine with a family member in Canada? For instance I'm an Ontario bound traveller, and I do my three days quarantine in Montreal, is it out of order to complete my 11 days quarantine with an family member in Ontario?

Please Linana, and others, I need your response.

Thanks in anticipation for an answer.

An update from Memorial University (MUN)
Hello everyone, This is direct info from the school
Yesterday Memorial University?s governing body, the Board of Regents, approved increases to Memorial?s undergraduate tuition fees.

The tuition increases have been planned to minimize impact on students, particularly current students like you. There are no changes to tuition fees for this fall semester, or for the winter 2022 and spring 2022 semesters. We understand that changes such as these require time for preparation and adjustment.

Beginning in fall 2022, tuition fees will increase by four per cent. Between fall 2022 and fall 2025, they will continue to increase by four per cent annually. We have built in this 4-year period to provide you with time before the full tuition increase is applied effective fall 2026.

Details about the increase are available here: https://gazette.mun.ca/campus-and-community/tuition-changes/. Background information, including tables outlining the exact tuition fees to expect are available here: www.mun.ca/undergrad/money-matters.

We want to reiterate that the increase to tuition fees is necessary. It is a direct result of the provincial government?s planned $68.4-million cut (or approximately 20 per cent) to the university grant over the next five years, ending government support for the tuition freeze that was in place since the early 2000s.

This planned cut of 20 per cent to Memorial?s operating budget is as big a challenge as this university has ever faced. While the focus of today?s announcement is on tuition fees, we want to assure you that we are also looking for all opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining a high quality student experience.

The provincial government has announced new grant and loan changes to support Newfoundland and Labrador students entering post-secondary studies in the province. More information can be found here: www.gov.nl.ca/releases/2021/education/0709n03/.

Work is ongoing to do everything possible to mitigate the impacts of these changes.

Today, Memorial awards more than $4.5 million in undergraduate student scholarships annually. We commit to increasing our fundraising activities to add even more scholarships and bursaries to help students in financial need as well as to recognize high-achieving students.

For Canadian students, Memorial will still have the most affordable tuition in Atlantic Canada, and for international students Memorial?s tuition will be below the Canadian average. The tuition fees for international students are based on the costs of delivering their education and supports. The university does not make a profit from these fees.

Implementing these changes to Memorial?s complex tuition structure for fall 2022 will take time. Over the coming days and weeks, the university will work to ensure all necessary details are considered to address implications for our students. Details will be communicated as they become available.

Thanks for the reply. Can she also go for Global Business Management?

Lekiboboe:

She can't go for an M.SC with the above CGPA, a PG.Cert in Financial Planning would suffice.

Read the post in the link below and relate it to your sister so she can do her research on the programs and see how it aligns with her Economics Background

Like 700 cad for 30 days with free WiFi and other benefit.

Vancouver is expensive so might be cheaper in Ontario or better still stay with your family to save cost

If she can relate it with her Economics degree, why not...... Cos admission is one thing, convincing a Visa Officer on her SOP is another thing entirely most especially "Why going for Global Business Management as an Economics Graduate" would be what she would need to explain on her SOP (Very Important), Career Goals/Future prospect of that Program if applied in Nigeria etc.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by RichieJayy: 4:24pm On Jul 10, 2021
Understood, thanks, I’m trying to see how I can get a 2yrs academy course for her because of PGWP. Most Financial Planning courses are for 1yr, so I need a better course for 2yrs that I can relate it to her present career goals. She’s presently a Sales Manager at a mobile industry. More clarity will be appreciated.

Hello guys...

Please what's the difference between a study leave approval letter and a no objection certificate from an employer?

Also please which do I need I just need leave of absence for period?

Study leave
A study leave letter, also referred to as a leave of absence letter for study purpose is a document written by an employee to request for time off from work to pursue an academic goal. Your application for study leave should be well written and done in line with the stated policy of your organisation. (It will make sense to attached your company leave policy).

No objection certificate (NOC)
A No Objection Letter is a letter from your employer or your school/university which states that you have contractual obligations in your home country to which you will return to. So in addition to your visa application documents, you can also submit a No Objection Letter.
The No Objection letter is otherwise known as a No Objection Certificate for Visa or a NOC. It can be mandatory for some countries but is usually optional. Even though it is optional, it is a good idea for you to submit it because it will speed up your visa processing. Also, this is where your company will state if they are providing any financial assistance.

Another idea that comes to mind, in NOC, you can equally state that your company will be providing 400 CAD or less monthly to support your living expenses as a commitment that you are in a contract with them. Note: your company must be capable of it (even though we know it might be "bobo" I feel this is also a strong economic home ties!

My two cents!

If you can get both, no problem. Also, any of them is equally okay for your application. Just pick the ideal one that suits your application. The bottom line is the goal of both letters or certificates is the same. Also, try to add an exact return date in any of these letters.
