If he had a smooth talking PR person .... how would we have known the head of the agency is a butt head?.... how would we have known the behaviour of his men is a reflection of him? U see the more reason leaders should always do the right thing? He has the gut to say that because of Mr president's continuous disobedience to rule of law and court's injunctions.

If an altercation occurs and his officers suffer as a result which court will they then go to seek redress.

What these people basically don't know is that if you disobey the law you lose the power to enforce laws. You hand over your authority to the public. They are supposed to be law 'enforcement' officers. When the law loses its power so do they. They have nothing to enforce.

The knowledgeable public will just be rubbing their hands in glee waiting to exact vengeance or making hay with 'powerless officials'.

What Nigeria does not have are forums and mechanisms where law enforcement and the Judiciary meet under the supervision of the Legislature to balance and smoothen out areas of dispute to enhance the criminal justice system as a whole. They should be partners in ensuring society functions properly and the dynamic between jurisprudence and civil liberties requires a fluid media to keep an even keel constantly.
