Things are bad.

But the problem with this article is that I have been seeing variants of this article for decades now. Infact i recall seeing reports from the 1990s 2000s and even ten years ago on the same theme. Price of ram shooting up.

Once it is holiday time, prices of stuff always go up. The average ram seller is probably trying to make enough cash to balance his books for the year, because in one months time the buyers won't come like before.

Infact most Nigerians do not buy rams except when holidays come up. The only customers for rams the rest of the year are probably butchers and maybe hotels.

All in all if you want cheap meat then we have to.change the way we practice agriculture in this country. Our population is too big to be fed by subsistence farming methods. Time we started things like ranching and other modern large scale farming methods

If ram is too expensive, then they should buy he-goats or Camels.

We never experienced it this bad during the administration of Goodluck Jonathan...

I remember when GEJ distributed Sugar, Flour, Food Items and Love during the 2014 Sallah period, but under the leadership of General Buhari, who's currently the world most useless President, he's distributing Hardship, Sorrows, Pains and Insecurity at Sallah.

Now, a fairly used chicken in Warri now goes for N3,620 instead of N1,070.
Jason which one come be fairly used chicken again?

The cost of things and inflation in the country is purely due to government's lack of policy direction towards food sustainability programmes.

Again, the onesided favouritism for herders against local crop farmers has heighten alot of tension and decrease in food production across the country. Buhari is a total fiasco and a Time bomb in the political space.

Maybe. But it is high time those who roam with cows went into setting up ranches in the North

A lot of huge profit and jobs in there

Fix the railways ....transport cows via rail...a lot of security issues gone.

If government is serious.

1.Camel is far expensive.(Prolly worse than horse...that's a means of transport we are talking about!)

2.He goat is just in the same category as ram self.
