Hello guys,

I need your help with how to go about my Canada visa application. In 2018 before I moved out of Nigeria, I met an agent through a friend who told me that he could help me with a Canada work permit from Nigeria to pay some money for him to start the application.

To cut a long story short, he started the application may be fake or real I don't know until he told me to prepare myself for a biometric, which I went for and got an email a few days after the biometric from @vfshelpline, but ever since then, I haven't heard from the vfs.

Now I am planning to go for a year graduate program in Canada, but I don't know if what the guy did then is going to affect my visa application and I tried to track the application, but it's showing no record found now. I don’t have the details he used for my application and I don’t know my Client ID number/File number.

What do you think I can do about this, guys ??

The agent already blocked me

I’m asking for a friend that is studying in Germany.

Hi,

When you went for the biometric, you must showed your biometric enrollment letter at the center.

All the information you seek is on that letter. Or did this agent didn't give you this BEL? The question would be how did you do the biometrics?

Inside 10 acclaimed agents, only 2 are alright and know what this is all about legitimately.

To add, since you did this biometric, it's a sign Canada already have information linked to your international passport and of course, your physical self.

Yes i paid via Flywire using Form A. Access bank is a sure bank that will get you Fom A approval.
RxOtunba:
If the school uses Flywire...Generate the Flywire invoice, and what you choose is the USD payment. U take the Flywire invoice to the bank for Form A. I'm nt goin to that school but that's how it works generally.

Good morning everyone
Please I have a few questions to ask
I intend applying to some Canadian schools for Msc business analytics.
I'm however scared by the fees I'm seeing as tuition.
I want to ask how people have coped with paying these fees without a sponsor.
I learnt I can get students loan too. Is this a good option? My target is a scholarship but if I don't get, a low tuition school wouldn't be bad.
Then loan is my plan C.
Do I have to pay in full before traveling?
Can I pay in installments?
The POF should be for 6-12 months?
Isn't this such a long period?
Please help me with answers so I can make a decision.
Thank you
While you await response on your other questions from the gurus, I would only be answering the Scholarship aspect of your question.

if you can take your time and do your due diligence about it, luck might just smile at you.

Also note that, there is little or no scholarship for Course-based Masters in Canada, it's only Thesis-based Masters (Research Based Masters) that have Graduate scholarship opportunities in Canadian Universities.

That being said,

If you have a 2.1, I would suggest you target a Potential MSC Graduate Scholarship/Scholarships in Business Analytics research areas.

Interestingly, Business Analytics is more or else tailoring Management to Science, Tech & Engineering, i.e NONSTEM to STEM.

If you are proficient in the use of Python, SQL, R-programming, Advanced Excel and some other Data Analytics software packages, and you also have some Research Experience or Projects, did online courses related to Business Analytics, yes you stand a Chance of getting a MSC Graduate Scholarship in Canada

Below are some Research Areas in Business Analytics you might want to consider for your Masters degree in Canada Universities

- Big Data Analytics
- Time Series and Forecasting
- Statistical Machine Learning
- Supply Chain Management
- Blockchain Technology
- applied econometrics
- electricity markets
- financial econometrics and quantitative risk forecasting
- Bayesian methods
- forecasting, sensitivity analysis
- micro-econometrics, multivariate statistical methods
-panel data methods and models
- scheduling problems
- stochastic non-life insurance and actuarial problems
- testing and modelling structural change
- Actuarial Science
- Financial Engineering

Which ever Research area above (at least 4 Research Areas) you want to work on for your thesis-based Business Analytics Masters degree in Canada, you need to google professors in Canada whose Research Areas align with your Research Interests, read about their Area of expertise, research work, articles (journals, publications), then Draft a Mail and send it to them to show interest in their work, how your research interests aligns with the Prof's Research areas and your intentions to join their Research Group. Once a Prof. finds you fit for his research group, all other things na cruise (Softwork).

For more details how to go about that, and package yourself for Graduate School Scholarships, take your time and go through the contents in the links below, relate it to your intentions of going for a Business Analytics Masters degree in Canada.

https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/321#103487629

Finally, below are Canadian Universities offering Business Analytics or related areas at Masters level ,google and do your due diligence on them

Master of Business Analytics
University of British Columbia, British Columbia

MBAN, Master of Business Analytics
York University, Ontario

M.M. in Analytics
McGill University, Quebec

MSc in Management Analytics
Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario

Master of Management Analytics
Queen's University, Ontario

Master of Data Analytics (MDA)
Western University, Ontario

MSc in Computing and Data Analytics
Saint Mary's University, Nova Scotia

Master of Management Analytics (M.M.A.)
University of Toronto, Ontario

Start Now by doing your due diligence for a Graduate Scholarship Opportunity against 2022

Good luck!!!

Please Family, for those that have done their medicals in Lagos, which is better IOM or Qlife?

Pls advice needed, thanks in advance

Both are good. Just that q-life is a bit cheaper than IOM. Q-life is N40,000 while IOM is 46,500. Where do you reside or where are coming from. IOM is in the mainland while Q-life is in Island of Lagos state.

Smiles!!!!!

410 is even the cheapest rate you can get!!! As of Friday, CBN rates for form A are around 410-412 USD not CAD.

Nigeria banks will pay the CAD equivalent. Moreover, the Globalpay for western union will have the USD equivalent on your payment quote.

If you see 410, better grab it with all your chest o!! no jokes.

If you are paying using Western Union Global pay for tuition, your quotation will be in dollars!! USD!!! Meaning you wouldn't be paying in CAD but USD! All form A are processed using USD even if you write CAD or any currency on the form A forms (Rhyme!!! cool) but your SCHOOL will be receiving value in CAD

All the best. The decision is yours.

Hello house,

I need to verify an information i got online from someone i just met. According to him he’s a citizen of canada that reside in calgary. I went to his inbox and asked him what i should study between nursing and software eng, he told me to go for nursing but i was afraid if i could cope with the high fee with just a 20hours/week job. So i told him about that(fee) and he said i should forget about the supposed fee(12000$ For int student) i saw on me
Memorial university school site(which he sent to me), that i will just be paying 2000$ per semester approx 4000$ per session. I was worried about the information so i felt i should ask here for verification.

Please house help me, before i start at all i need to verify this information to be sure i will not be in any problem.
