Besides the above, I have never sighted a FERMA in the southern part of the country (third mainland bridge excluded). I sight them mostly working in the north especially Kaduna - Kano expressway.

The people handling that road are stupid ,every raining season they will come and spoil the road the more there by making a 20minutes journey last for 3hrs , just from nyanja to masaka you will spend more than 3hrs it's pathetic, they won't see the road to repair during dry season it's only when it starts to rain they will know the road is bad

Today was horrible for u , the little the dug before caused an accident before the remember to come back to finish it. We truly have a failed gov. If FERMA had started the work by 1am , we wouldn't have had such experience today. I had to treek from international market to nyanya, even when I bypassed the point, okada still had the guts to demand #150 from abacha road to under nyanya bridge. Thanks to my two legs

Sharap my friend. Works on that road started with filling the potholes from Abacha barracks towards Keffi. You have never plied that road that is why you are making noise.

I served in Nasarawa state.

These guys should be working on Akwanga-Lafia road, that road has taken human lifes than Keffi-Abuja road.

Construction companies are notorious for caring less about the health and well being of the commuters and residents of the area where they work.

I'm always uncomfortable seeing residents subjected to billow of thick dust for days and weeks just because the roads are being constructed. How about regular wetting of the roads?

When Journalist are bereft of creative ideas, they resort to low-level narratives like these and call it news. Imagine the opening paragraph

Sure! but we need to rationalize it thus, do we want the road to be fixed or we want our current "(in-)convenience" to continue. The untold hardship we went through at the early days of Lagos-Ibadan expressway, this is little compared to that. When someone put up a phone call to Fashola, he explained the reality of the choice being made. When that road is completed and beautifully done to standard, I bet you road users will not remember the incovenience

The argument is not about the benefits of fixing the road but notifying road users first so they won't be caught unawares.

I witnessed this today. To top it all up, a trailer fell close to Abacha barracks. Blocking the express. Today just dey somehow. I've spent over 2k on transportation today.
