idk if i should put his name here because I am still not sure of the persons intention, only that he was so persuasive to book an appointment and obtain my passport information.

Abimbola15:
Hello guys, i posted earlier on this thread that I was looking for an early appointment date at iom abuja and i had previosly dropped my email here for anyone going to Nova scotia to contact me via email. someone got my email and emailed concerning the medical appointment. He emailed me claiming there was a slot for 19th of august available, i believed initially but decided to check the appointments online because when i booked 19th was not available. I did so and saw that 19th wasn’t available. He had already started being persuasive for me to send my passport number and full name on my passport as it is stated on it. I found this behavior very fishy and disturbing because he became very persuasive that he was trying to help me book online that from his end he can see an open slot for 19th. Now idk for sure what the intention is/was but I immediately knew it wasnt good.

Please do not give anyone details on your passport. Especially your passport number, putting this out here because there are people going through this thread and looking for how to collect information for their use. This person emailed me immediately they saw my comment here so please be careful. They are here.

God will expose them all
Thanks Abimbola

Hello everyone. I’m thinking of writing a volunteer employment letter as someone suggested earlier, will i use the firm’s letter head in the letter or just write a normal letter stating I volunteered to work there? @frankrobbn1 @justmellow

Hello Freebands01,

It should be on the letterhead of the organization you volunteered.

Best of Luck

Hello Activateoluwase,

Before the gurus come, you can check George Brown College or Humber College to see if the available health courses are compatible with your study progression.

Hi guys, I just had to say it out loud that the wait is tiring. Today makes it exactly 6months I applied for my study permit. Applied Feb 13th and up until now no decision has been made. The wait is really tiring. Upfront medicals was updated to passed on 10th June and eligibility started the same day. I have sent webforms and mails to the point that they don't respond anymore but just give you the automated response of having received your mail. I applied for my GCMS notes on July 2nd. My waiting still continues. It is well cry cry

God is the greatest and He came through for me!!!

1st Application: 29th Jan 2021
Submitted with upfront medicals and NSE requirements. After sending several mails and webforms as well as applying for my GCMS notes on 16th of April. I received my notes on the 17th of May with the VO’s concern about having lumpsums in our joint account.
Refusal: 27th May 2021 (Purpose of visit & personal assets and financial]

2nd Application: 31st May 2021
Background check started immediately and eligibility started on the 3rd of June. I noticed my Medical was not updated and sent a webform with my e-medical sheet.
Medical passed: 25th June 2021
PPR: 30th June 2021

My special appreciation goes to God that made my dreams come to reality. He deserves all the glory. I also want to appreciate @JustMellow (gcmswriters) for his guidance and prompt approach in handling my LOE. I reached out to him when I received my notes thinking I could explain the lumpsums before a decision was made but refusal came some days after. JustMellow assisted in writing my LOE to address the financial concerns as well as reconstruct my SOP to address purpose of visit (studied engineering but going for business management course). God bless you and cause his face to shine upon you. Going for a 2yr PG certificate.
Thank you to everyone for their selfless contributions on this thread. The advices, comments and testimonies kept me going even when it looked like all hope was lost. Thank you for the congratulatory messages. God bless you all.

Hello Bhooomie,

Thank you for believing in me. Reading that your application was approved is awesome. This just boost my ability more.

Ok let me explain the dilemma,
A friend of mine is wants to change DLI when he gets into Canada, but because of this Tuition stuff he needs to pay something to cross the border which he hopes to ask for refund later...
He wants to do PGD Business Analytics but applied for Masters in Technology Management since he already had a Masters..

So he would have paid tuition in full for the Business Analytics but he scared Incase he is not able to switch..

You are to pay the exact amount as directed on your admission letter

Let me get that medical request letter, first. IOM will know they met a different kinda person. By the time I stampede their office for 2 days, they will be left no choice but to attend to me on day 3. I can bet my life. For now, the focus is to get the request letter.

SweetJJ:
Some of us no dey hear word oo. They have been advising everyone to do upfront medical. Now see. I pray the brother that was sent medical request finds his way out.

If you are new, better do yourself a favor and do upfront medical. It saves time.
