Hamas is much more powerful than boko haram but they have completely different motives and tactics.

Boko Haram's main targets are ordinary civilians and they are not different from the rest of the population (language, physical looks, etc) except for the few that live in forests unlike Hamas. I don't think I've heard about Hamas beheading their own people or bombing mosques.

Hamas has good supply of rockets, but they always go from one angle and their targets are very predictable unlike boko haram who have no specific enemy.
