I'm currently in the southeast and to be honest, a lot of Nigerians need to see things from both sides of the fence.

I developed a headache travelling by road due to the excessive and irrelevant police and millitary check points.

I walked with my hands in the air past an assault rifle pointed at us. This is no way to treat a people you claim to want to help.

No region will be endeared to an administration that puts it through that trauma. I was more concerned about the men at the check points than ESN boys showing up.

SOLUTION;

(1) The millitary and police need to leave the roads to reduce the animosity and reduce tension.

(2) The security operations in the southeast need to be more of intelligence driven than show of force.

(3) The police and millitary need to win the people over to get any intel to solve whatever issues in the region.....even political.

Just my personal observations.

BTW, I still don't like Nnamdi Kanu and his method of protesting against the govt.
