petux: It's actually 30 days window after which the buyer cannot leave a review again. But as far as Fiverr is concerned, the buyer can still cancel an already accepted delivery order even after 6 months. It's crazy. Please, what can we do about this low order on Fiverr? Buyer request just be like waste of time lately. Have all USA buyers left Fiverr? Upwork isn't any better either as most of the buyers there now are agencies or has it been like that ever? 2 Likes |

Fellow Nairalanders and Freelancers good morning to you all... Please Fiverr is trying to frustrate my account, I just want to ask if it's the same way it is generally done or am I the only one passing through all this. On 9th of this month a client place an order without giving me full details of what he wants me to do for him, I messaged him and told him that before placing an order with me you have to discuss with me and if everything went fine I will instruct you to place an order (I wrote this on my gig description too). He apologized and said sorry about that, and the worst that happened was, what he wants me to do I can't do it, so I decide to cancel the order. This is my first cancellation of order since I started freelancing on Fiverr and am a LEVEL TWO seller. On 15th of this same month, Fiverr deranked me  reason was the percentage of order completed reduced to 86% and the criteria is you must maintain 90% to remain in your level.On Friday 16th fiverr removed another 5% from the percentage of order completed, I got another order and delivered within 8 hours which the normal time of delivery I gave the client was 48 hours, the percentage added extra 5%, today again Fiverr removed another 5%. And the rule is I must maintain at least 90% at the level one they deranked me to, and the keep removing 5% everyday. Please is it how it normally goes. Because this is getting me frustrated as I don't get order everyday. |

raphemmanuel: Hello boss. Sorry about your experience. Fiverr is not against you. The drop that you are witnessing is because the order completion is calculated over a period of 60 days. i.e the percentage represents the percentage of orders completed over the last 60 days. |

ineaghe:Thanks for showing concern. But my worry now is the daily removal of 5% from the order completion percentage. I am just left with 75% now and I know tomorrow they will remove another one. And for me to maintain my level one I was demoted to, I must reach 90% order completion before 15th of next month. Orders doesn't come everyday and am already loosing more percentage. How am I going to cope? |

I had a terrible experience with a buyer recently. He wanted to cancel the order after a perfect delivery saying he doesn't want it again. He had recently said everything was perfect and requested for a minor revision which I did immediately and sent him the perfect copy. Has any of you faced similar issue in the past? Your opinion is highly welcome. |

raphemmanuel: Sorry about the experience. They are not removing 5% everyday, they are recalculating your order completion rate everyday, over the last 60 days. Your order completion rate was 86% on July 15 because that's what you get if you calculate the order completion rate from May 15 to July 15. It dropped to 79% on July 16 because that's what you get if you calculate the order completion rate from May 16 to July 16. And that continues everyday. Let's say you completed an order on May 15 and you had 10 orders and canceled 1 order between May 15 and July 15. Your order completion rate will be 90% on July 15. If on July 16, you have not completed any other order, they will now calculate your order completion rate using 9 orders from May 16 to July 16 and that will be 88.8 (approximately 89%). The order you completed on May 15 will no longer be considered in the calculation. Hope this helps you understand... 1 Like |

Xbee007: You have to be very careful with him. I experienced something like that in the past and the issue is still having a serious effect on my account even though it happened long ago. I refused to accept/approve the cancelation and he left a terrible review. Just use wisdom to deal with him. Ask if something went wrong somewhere and if you can help in anyway. Let him know Fiverr will punish a seller if he/she cancels an order. If you are persuasive enough, he will have a change of mind. Don't argue or fight with him. If all efforts proved abortive, then weigh your options. If you think it won't affect your account if he leaves a bad review, you can decide not to cancel. Also, consider the amount involved. But trust me, "a good name is better than silver or gold". A clean account is better than some $$ 1 Like |

emmaBS:Thank you very much for this advice. I think the guy is a serial scammer. He must have been doing this for a long time. I strongly suspect they have been doing this to other sellers too. They use old account yet no single seller review on their account. They know sellers fear negative reviews so once they have a perfect delivery, they will request for order cancellation. I contacted CS and provided proofs but they said their isn't much they can do about it. I just initiated the order cancellation. Later I will block him and hope I never encounter another buyer like that again. 2 Likes |

The best thing as you've pointed out is to cancel, if you are sure he won't change his mind. I regret not cancelling the order when it happened to me. After the terrible review, I stopped getting orders. Now depending on few old buyers. |

raphemmanuel: You can check to see how many orders you have completed between June 14/15 till date. With only one canceled order, you need 9 completed orders between June 14/15 and August 14/15 for your order completion rate to get back to 90% before the next evaluation. Even if you are not able to raise it to 90% before August 15 and you get demoted again, the order completion rate will automatically go back to 100% before September 15 as long as you don't cancel any other order.
