See the problem is people want to keep using this "England/epl are overrated" talk when looking at English players. It's difficult for some to admit that they simply have a golden generation at the moment.
Andrewbaba44 is talking about how he used stats to debunk my talk yet he forgets that goals is only where Berardi beats Grealish.
Grealish created more big chances, has more assists and completed more dribbles despite being out injured for 3 months last season.
Like I said, we will revist this topic soon. Sooner or later, this "all English players are overhyped" talk will die off soon.

Let me address this, you said berardi beats grealish in only goals ? is scoring goals easy if i may ask ? berardi beats grealish on goals with a good margin, but same cant be said of grealish assists

Abi is it same grealish that has spent about more time championship/league one than the premier league if i am not mistaken

epl is a better league than seria A but if you think to score and create assist in seria A is easy then you must be joking

Berardi 291 senior career games 105 goals 67 assists

Grealiish 252 senior career games 37 goals 50 assists, which is more better cheesy

Mind you more than half of grealish career was spent on the championship and league one ,and berardi has only played 37 seria B games ,I brought this leg because of one of your opinion, grealish didnt even have better stats despite playing more in the championship and league 1

He's isn't that big, he's just snapped with short players, let him take pictures with Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Konate then you would know if he's really big.

I'm happy seeing him train in the company of those players.

For those naysayers that keeps shouting upandan that these boys falsified their ages should look at U17 picture of Awoniyi, Nacho, Uzoho, Success, Chuks, Osihmen etc. Compare with the here and now pictures. Its like double of everything. Awo is a giant.

I don't doubt the ones that went through the U-17 system from 2013. But the ones that came in through other means, I highly doubt them.

That Genk coach need to learn how to play 2 strikers at a go

If he will be an understudy to Dessers he should look elsewhere then. For Onyekuru i doubt he is that ambitious because i dont wanna see him turkey this season...that league is not improving his football in any way

The "Understudy to Genk" report also doesn't make sense because for Genk to be ahead of Dutch giants, Feyenoord and PSV, who score loads of goals, they would have promised him significant gametime.

At the detriment of their captain, Dessers. It's a catch-22 for them.

PSV seems the best option, because they will be selling Donyen Mallen

Tammy is a fine player and will add depth to the crop of players we parade, but given the manner at which we begged him, will he be willing to give his best just as Osimhers does.

You're right with your assertion...somehow the crop of players we currently parade might have change his orientation and the competition oshimen provides would have motivate him too

But anyway pray we get one of the crystal palace kid for afcon thats all we desire right now

I agree with u. This season is for dessers to shine in all honesty he has all going for him thats why i want onauchu to push for a move to lyon because he might miss afcon if he makes a wrong move and one of Terrem, Ike or dessers hit it hard Rohr will be spoiled with choices to make

Lollllz but playing for West Brom will help him score lots of goals. He needs that to build his confidence remember ighalo never scored 10goals a season all his time in spain but in Watford in championship he pulled up 20 goals or more and that marks the beginning of the Ighalo we know

Grealish is better than Berardi. Grealish is more of a wide playmaker while Berardi is more of a outlet/winger/wide forward.
It's like saying Coutinho is a better AM than Ozil because he scores more goals which is wild.
You talk about Grealish playing in championship - yeah what about that? He was very close to joining Spurs for a 30m move till it stalled at the last minute.
Fact is in the last 2 seasons he has been at least in the top 3 in chances created, key passes, etc in the epl.
So I don't understand the point you think you're making in talking about him playing in the championship and league 1.
Like I said, we will come back to this discussion.

Nearly cannot kill a bird

I still expect Grealish to move this summer as he is a very good player

I brought the Point about him playing in championship and league one because you said epl is a stronger league ,and I am sure you are referring to his stats in the epl ,so I just had to let you know they Grealish stats in the championship is an average one

Grealish is a good player but not better than berardi .

Glasgow Celtic are on the verge of announcing the signing of Irish-Nigerian midfielder Bosun Lawal.

The Scottish Premiership giants have reportedly pulled off a transfer coup by luring the former Watford wonderkid to the club.

According to The Herald, Celtic sealed the signing of Lawal ahead of Norwich City, Fulham and Chelsea who were all interested in his signature.

The European champions made an attempt to snatch the 18-year-old from under Celtic's noses but the player did not want to go back on his word to the Scottish club.

Lawal has put pen to paper on a three-year contract at The Bhoys and only an official announcement confirming the deal is left.

He arrives at Celtic with a reputation as one of the brightest young prospects in England, winning Watford's Academy Player of the Season award for 2020-2021.

Lawal will become the second player of Nigerian descent to join Celtic as a free agent this summer, following in the footsteps of ex-Nigeria U23 invitee Osaze Urhoghide.

He has almost every physical trait to be a great striker for Liverpool. Yes the elephant in the room is his goalscoring. Klopp found a way to get a championship bound Lewandowski over the top so why can't he do the same with Taiwo? After all Salah wasn't 30 a season at Roma.

Awoniyi is a humble, hardworking lad who I admire a lot but since his youth football days I haven't really been wowed by his abilities displayed so far. He looks like your typical bullish English archetype striker who operates within the 18-yard box that Burnley like teams will love to have. I personally feel he's capable of better based on what I saw of him in his u17 and u20 days. I think he might need to shed a few pounds to improve his mobility and also avoid muscle injuries.

Media reports in Turkey said champions Besiktas have submitted an offer to English Championship club Middlesbrough for striker Chuba Akpom.

Akpom was also linked to Besiktas last season and according to Fotomac, they have now made a first formal bid for the striker, who returned to England last summer from PAOK of Greece.

He cost Middlesbrough three Million Euros.

Last season, Akpom scored five goals and made four assists in 42 appearances for ‘Boro.

Besiktas want the striker on a season-long loan during which they hope to showcase him on the UEFA Champions League shop window so as to shore up his transfer market valuation.

The report said Besiktas trump card in these negotiations is Champions League football.
