Isn't there a database for Nigerians too? There's a software they use...at least i was captured, my fingerprints taken and it was uploaded. Then a QR code generated which was stuck on a card with the explanation that when scanned, my identity will be verified.
This is not to suggest that those who took in Nigeria will quarantine or not quarantine though...just contributing.

PLEASE For those flying to the uk soon, I was informed that if u enter the uk through a connecting flight (i.e not a direct flights) You will be quarantined at a hotel and u will pay for the hotel bills{which is more than a thousand pounds), please verify properly before booking your flight. Is it just me or are BA flights from Lagos outrageously more expensive than Abuja? I am arriving at Manchester airport and Virgin Atlantic doesn't have flights for the period I am looking at.

Please who used FCMB Form A for payment of tuition fee, how long did it take them to send you a telex after debiting you?

After 2days of debiting me, I am yet to get the telex.

Please anybody with similar experience??

Good day everyone, please which bank is the fastest for form A as at today, cos time is really of the essence now. Also, I intend booking for TB test but my youngest son passport won’t be available until 27th of this month. What do you advise I do and how can I go about the booking? Thanks.

The type of vaccine is not the issue, the vaccine in Nigeria is Oxford/Astrazena and it is also being administered in the UK, the issue is about people vaccinated through the NHS. NHS has a data base for people vaccinated in the UK, and that can be verified. They also carry the NHS covid pass, which airlines are required to check.So its about being vaccinated in the Uk and not the variant in Nigeria .

If you're referring to school application, then I will say from experience, you can get an unconditional offer without a passport...I got 2 unconditional offers from 2 different schools(they didn't give me any conditional o)...they know for sure you can't come to the UK without a passport, so no need to bother their head.
You can also do them a mail... explaining why you can't tender it yet.

So my Tier-2 visa journey was like this:

12th July Biometrics (SUPER PRIORITY VISA)
14th July Email to come pick up
15th July Picked up my passport

3 Year Tier-2 visa granted.

What time did you arrive the VI location and how long did the process take? Considering it was Walk in, thanks.

You can apply while you expect your passport. I can't tell how long the grace you'll get to submit the passport is, as most Schools are winding up already on September admission.
