Worthy of note that 2 ministers chose to land in an uncompleted Airport despite any perceived risk that would be involved. This has boosted the confidence level of the project. Truly remarkable.

The Contractor handling the project, Engineer Edmund Chukwuemeka said the unscheduled inspection visit shows how serious the project is to the State Government, and promised to increase speed of work in order to deliver on time.
Permanent Secretary, Mrs Stephanie Keri-Uzor, Public Relations Officer and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Honourable Mike Afah, as well as other staff of the Ministry joined in the inspection visit.
I still repeat While the govt gradually opens up the State CID road..alternative routes previously used by commuters during the shutdown should be fixed as a matter of urgency. IGBOSON1: Concerning the new airport...things we’d like to see in the next couple of weeks are: the installation of the lifts and escalators in the terminal building; the installation of the lighting on the runway; landscaping of the entire premises and approach roads; the arrival of the new kickass fire-fighting trucks; wrapping up of works in the terminal building; and more!

It's very heartwarming that they make effort to prevent cars from driving on the runway. Especially cars with muddy tires that leave sand deposits on the runway. I'm quite happy to see that they are protecting the runway even when it's not currently used daily. It is still clear of sand and debris.

The state with the highest number of house of reps delegation to the national assembly in the south east. The state with the wealthiest Igbos without doubt. The state with a distinct dialect of Igbo that all other Igbos strive to speak in order to feel accepted. The state with a large international airport due soon. All the celebrities, top government officials, business men and women etc. We needed to be on our A game as the client, Obi Cubana demanded for nothing but the best.
