The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has published the list of candidates for the November 6 Governorship Election in Anambra state.

In the list published on Friday, the electoral umpire, in obedience to orders of court, dropped the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Mr Valentine Ozigbo and that of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo.

This is a very serious development that's bound to have some interesting implications. I would be shocked if Obiano's faction of APGA didn't foresee a situation like this playing out and then having a plan-B for such an eventuality.

I think it will be obvious that the present APC government and INEC are working together if things remain this way for the elections.
If the matter is in court, tge election might still be cancelled should Soludo emerge his party's candidate.
Then another expenses for the rerun.
