seunny4lif: I will advice people not to apply for tourist visa for now because Ireland is very serious and the lockdown rule, if you are coming from overseas naija includes you have to self isolate for 14 days at some designated hotels close to the airport and the fee for these hotel’s is much 2 Likes |

The good thing is to apply as a spouse of an EU citizen visiting Ireland Visa type C It takes like 3 weeks to process and you don't have to pay visa fees. You will submit everything Yemoland: 1 Like |

opsyrado: Hi Opsyrado, congratulations on the approval of your visa, i can just imagine the excitement and relief you must be feeling right now. I was wondering if you can let me know what category you applied for your join family in. Was it as a spouse of an irish citizen or a critical skills employment? I am currently a critical skills permit holder, my husband applied for a join family visa in June, we are yet to hear back, I know its only been two months, but I thought that the processing for people with critical skills does not take as long as other join family visas. we are thinking of just applying for a study visa for him if it is going to take anything from 6 to 12 months just for our peace of mind and sanity. Hope to hear from you soon, Thanks. |

Good day all , I don't know if this is the right place to put this... My question is, would it be fine to go ahead to apply for a short stay visa for an exam that's geared towards professional accreditation? I'm asking this because of the pandemic/update on visas. Cc:dotcomnamename |

Sunshineandrain: Sorry for the late response as I”m no longer active here, my spouse was on critical skills but at the time of application he had moved to a stamp 4 visa but I’m guessing they treat both same. When it was taking time I reached out to Dublin office but they referred me to Abuja office. They later sent me a mail asking for additional documents which I provided immediately. It can take up to 6months or more but just be patient so far all your documents are complete, they’ll reach out to you. I”m hoping by now you don’t need all this and your spouse has gotten his visa. |
