Finally watched Black Widow yesterday and all I've got to say is, between Capitan Marvel and Black Widow, I don't know which one is worse.


I expected so much from BW because I'm a big fan of Disney plus the massive success of MCU over the years. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The movie was terrible. Simply put.

It was a good movie and I'm glad that it's doing well. Scarlett Johansson deserved it, and so did Florence Pugh. The latter's Yelena is already one of the best MCU characters in my opinion. I wish Antonia was more of a character than a plot device but other than that I loved it, I'll probably put it in the category of Captain America 1 and Thor 1.

Honestly, the only thing I felt was missing to make this movie stand next to Winter Soldier was making the Red Room an actual threat connected to the rest of the MCU. They could've shown that they were behind something *tangible*, actually name dropping a significant event or two, rather than the nebulous "we control the world" speech. Hell, maybe show they were close to filling the void Hydra left. But ya... I enjoyed the movie.

I feel sorry for the neckbeards that hated the movie because.. feminism.

My only chief complaint about BW is that I felt it would’ve been better if released prior to Infinity War, but obviously it’s not that big of a complaint, the movie itself was not great but good enough, I’m glad to see it doing so well.

This is actually extremely impressive. I think it's plausible now that No Way Home breaks a billion in the box office.

Yeah if the scheduling worked out it would have been great to give us a better look at the time period between Civil War and Infinity War. The gap between the two is wildly short for the amount of potential story there was. In some ways, I wish they had delayed the Infinity saga a bit to make room for more of this era.

My thoughts exactly. I just feel like it would’ve made Nat’s death a bit more emotional tbh. Hell, they could have kept the damn post credits scene too, and people could speculate for years if Clint really did kill her before Endgame showed what happened.

Bruh I slept off twice trying to get to the interesting parts which was a little bit past halfway through the movie when they did one nice reveal, the movie slumped again after that and then picked up in the final 3rd, the climax was just there not bad but not too good either and they left room for a sequel in the post credits

I'll give it a 5 cos the fight scenes were more realistic like when a tiny lady with martial arts skills was fighting a big dude, she couldn't bring him down easily and I appreciate that kind of honesty in fight choreography unlike in some female led action movies

Some movies would make you think a tiny lady can just knock out a big dude easily like it would be super easy, barely an inconvenience just cos she has training and knows some martial arts but no be so
