By the way, I don't agree that "These Photos Show That Nigeria Is Already Beyond Repair".

To start with, I can go dig up tons of photos that clearly show the opposite but the reason I shall not bother is the simple fact that Nigerians have eyes and can look around and see for themselves and come report here if they don't see thousands of things to be hopeful for.

But more important is the fact that I myself aim for improvements and not for "beyond repair", me not being a fatalist but an optimist. I must be optimistic that I might become more capable of repairing that which I might not yet be capable of repairing instead of fatally blaming others. I do after all work daily to become more capable.

Yes. Very optimistic. And especially with electricity where I'm Very very optimistic indeed. In my lifetime a letter from UK to Nigeria was 2-3 weeks, and 4 on the way back. Now I type in my living room and the entire world reads it or I can just pick up the phone.

I am very optimistic that we will one day say, "Let there be Light" and then do what we know we must do so that it can be said, "And there was Light".

Imagine what we'd then do in the remaining five days before we rest.
