It does not matter who is president in 2023. It really doesn't. As long as the country retains its current inefficient political and economic structure, nothing will change. 8 Likes |

Rubbish! Is she qualified? Yes! But in 2023, the South needs to present a tough man who will weld power in a way Buhari welded it. Even if not to deal with the North, but to recover all the South lost in this inglorious era of Buhari. So, no to Mummy Ngozi. She has the world trade to reposition. 4 Likes |

Iyasaburi:No, she isn't. Not as far as I know. I first figured to ask Nairalanders what you all think before I asked her. Iyasaburi:Not with the might of Nairalanders behind her will any of the useless politician frustrate President Ngozi-Iweala, and she is far too strong to give up a half done job. |

bjdon: She can bring investment that will empower us financially to restructure ourselves how we want. You can not deny that money will follow her if we clean up our act a little bit. Anyone else think buda is dreaming of them perhaps explain to bjdon why military can not structure Nigeria how many goes they have at it and why someone else just might be able to empower us to restructure ourselves. It is our future after all. |

Ngozi left her post in the world bank before to come and become minister of finance and economy during Goodluck's regime. And what she suffered from the hands of politicians for fighting corruption eh, I doubt she would want to serve her country again. |

Brian47: I think she will sacrifice herself for us if we asked her but we must not allow her to sacrifice herself by doing our fair share of the work. I will gladly follow her lead more than anyone else I can currently think of. Wouldn't you?

SaintBishop:An irrelevent Ijaw vote that couldn't save Jonathan is that what you call vote? Save for the rants of Orubebe who demonstrated Izon insignificance, no one gives a damn about noisemakers. Allow the big boys do their thing and learn one or two things. If not for the backing Igbos gave GEJ, dude would have been harrased out of Aso rock in 2009. Be grateful to your seniors and put a respect on that name Igbo. 2 Likes |

Is it the yorubas you always call afonaj, skull miners etc or the hausa/fulanis you abuse everyday? You lost jews are in for a long thing. The earlier you igbos realized that you are an inconsequential migrants from israel, you don't belong in Nigeria the better for you. President of Southern Nigeria not Nigeria bro. Everything that remains in contact with Northern Nigeria is bound to fail. We must do something to server this retrogressive Union with the North. Can’t wait to witness things like President Ngozi Okonjo Iweala, President With each President serving a single term of 6 and half years in office. The last six months attached to the tenure of a siting president will be a kind of period of parallel government between the out going and the incoming president, although outgoing government has the executive power but the incoming government can also convince the court in stopping any foul play they suspect. This will be the period the incumbent government will gradually handover official documents of the Federation to his successor and his team of economic and security advisers. This period of time, the outgoing government will ensure the continuation of governance while documents are been handed over and vetted. If the incoming government is not properly cleared about any documents they could convince the Supreme Court to order every member of the outgoing government remain in the country until all documents are cleared and or all cases heard as the issue maybe. |

budaatum:Please wake up and smell the coffee. Nigeria is a lawless country. Sensible international investors will never come here unless the entire legal and regulatory framework is overhauled. You need to stop thinking that this current democratic system can provide the leadership the country needs. It cant. We need a complete change of course, a firm dictator who will rule with an iron fist and ensure the rule of law is totally adhered to. Anything else is just more of the same. |
