Hello Olaa123,

I have never heard of the Canadian Pregnancy visa. Be careful.

Someone posted an employment offer letter here. That offer letter is not legit. They could not even get the spelling of the province correctly. The email "ca.com" could have just been ".ca" or ".com"

Most organizations in Canada use .ca

To confirm if the employment letter is legit, Google search the name of the employer and reach out to HR department for enquiry or get someone who is in BC to assist with further verification.

I may be wrong though!

Best of Luck

Thank you boss @justmellow

House, I am still trying to get information of someone that has process student application for a minor with accompanying parent(Mother).

we have almost everything ready. paid full tuition for grade9 last week. Just needed to get similar case, so we can cross all Ts and dot all I

Hello Ehiremen2002,

The adult should have justifiable reason/evidence of either due to helping the minor settle or due to medical disability.

n.b. when it concerns the study permit, there is nothing like "accompanying parents."

The application of the adult should be submitted separately with the necessary information of PA attached as document proofs. A letter of explanation should also be included.

Hello Gozmoc8167,

It boils to several factors like the cost of your tuition cost, family composition, etc. You may want to present an account sufficient enough to cover your study expenses.

As a self-sponsored, it will help your financial demonstration and strength if you can present a financial record of NGN 8m excluding tuition.
It will do you well if you can pay at least the first year of your tuition and set up a GIC or have the funds secured with a proper demonstration of its availability.

If you intend to apply through the NSE stream, maintain the financial requirement set by IRCC to be C$30,000 (let's say about NGN 10m).

Best of Luck

Thanks a lot sir JustMellow. Please regarding the NSE route, does 30,000 CAD include tuition fee? Also, I saw the French Language Test as a requirement for NSE. Must I take the French test?
Finally, do you think a total of 12 million naira can sponsor one for M.Eng in Electrical Engineering at Memorial University?

Thanks in anticipation of your reply?

Good day, everyone!

I'm a newbie on this thread, have applied for visa, and I'm happy to see some helpful posts and ppr alerts. Thumbs up!!
My question is:
My mum's sponsorship letter states that she has a landed property. But, the thing is...me and my agent forgot to include the scanned copy of the landed property when he submitted my application.
Pls, should I tell him to submit it now? ( app submitted on the 19th, April, 2021).
Secondly, after reading stories and documents (like gift deed, landed properties, etc.) submitted by some people on this thread, I'm now afraid coz I didn't use a gift deed or landed property of any kind to back my application. All I did was to submit my uncle's ( main sponsor) first bank's printed acct statement of over 100k CAD, my mum's( co sponsor) acct statement of not more than 3 million, their letter of sponsorship, affidavit of support from my uncle, SOP (which states my purpose of visit and my home ties), but my home ties is based on the bond I have with my mum, how I'll come back to take care of her especially as she's now in her early sixties.
So, considering what I've read on this thread, I'm afraid if my home ties could pose a problem considering the fact that I didn't base it on socio-economic aspect like some of you did.
Pls, I need someone to talk to me.
I really appreciate!

Your eligibility hasn't been reviewed in its entirety. Probably ongoing. The absence of a preassessment remark probably implies no concern has been raised at any level of the review process.

Ok thank you for your explanation.

Congratulations to everyone who received their PPR. Super glad for everyone. The Lord who did yours will answer everyome of us.

So this is my own progress story since i finished my long time deal with my so-called agent. I hustled to get two schools which i applied to. First was Cambrian College to study Animation, class starts by Jan 2022. Second is Fanshawe College, to study Construction Project Management, class starts by Jan 2022. I prefer the second one being a one year program to move me to Master's Program directly.

But i noticed that Fanshawe doesn't allow applicants from Nigeria to apply directly. So they sent a list of Agents affiliated to them for the admission. I selected Maple Education Canada for the application. I called them and they responded well. The online application was done this midnight, payment and acknowledgement was done this afternoon.

So fingers crossed, probably i will have to go and gather all necessary documents for the study visa application. So once the admission letter is sent, i move on with it and get it done in less than two days.

One question pls before submitting the application, can the medicals also ve uploaded along with it? Thank you

Good evening Teemenzo pls check your mail
Thanks

Thank @justmellow, am a dental technologist, but since they're not offering the course, I decided to choose Health care administration management. Since is still within the circle of health care. What's your opinion?

The best way to select a related program (or a program that is within the same field but not related to the practices) is using the UG transcript. Most of the courses taken are offered as a program in most institutions.

You should go for something related to Dental programs like Dental Hygienist, Periodontology
and Implantology, Clinical Periodontology, Restorative and Periodontal Practice, Clinical Periodontology, etc.

Another question is, the decision to understand if Health Care Administration Management is a progression and related to your experience, try to connect it to your future prospect or plans coupled with a (clear) demonstration of the study intent. This will help you stay informed of the study correlation and/or progression.

I am not exposed to the know-how stated above. Despite the prospect study is in the health field, the same as your experience, they are in a way not connected/related. It is on you to demonstrate the connection to the understanding of the officer.

If you can demonstrate the relevance of the prospect study to your experience advantage, then it is the right program for you.

As applicable to English Language speakers, you are only required to take the English proficiency test (IELTS only). The C$30,000 is only a demonstration of financial availability and sufficiency to be able to cater for the study and living cost for one year. Whether you make the tuition payment or not, it is the financial requirement.

The financial situation is assessed differently – self-sponsored, family, third-party. If NGN 12m will be enough? Yes, it will be enough but the cost of your tuition will determine if it will be. Do the calculations.

HI. Please what is the fee for nursing like?

It varies honestly, my university is in Manitoba
And from what I know aside from Newfoundland which has very affordable tuition other universities may be higher
Mine in Manitoba for an undergraduate - 18,150CAD for a year excluding living expenses : so my four years for tuition alone is 72,000CAD
While Alberta is - 23,000CAD if I’m not mistaken
for four years is - 92,000CAD

But you can search up colleges that offers PN (practical nursing) in Canada i, think it’s cheaper and shorter.

Cheers.

I can still vividly remember that someone came up with this same question sometime ago, unfortunately none of our gurus came to our rescue.

I think paying the transmission fee should arrest the situation, unfortunately I'm not sure of what I'm saying.

Let's pray someone who's been in this same circle ,chips in and educate us.

Hello Ponytail22,

Yes, you do as long as you meet the eligibility requirements of the study permit. Areas you should pay close attention to are:

• Study intent. Ensure it demonstrates study progression to your current employment domain. Your best bet is a PGD.

• Sufficient funds and accessibility. Avoid any unexplained and unjustified lump sum deposits.

• Home ties. Demonstrate your ties from a socioeconomic level of establishment.

• (Future) prospect or plans for the study, its employability, and employment situation where you intend to establish and utilize the earned knowledge.

In the absence of the registration certificate of the business, the online presence will go a long way. You can do well to support it with business receipts/pro forma, reference letter from the client(s), government revenue/tax payment documents, business financial records, orders and/or testimony screenshot(s) of your online business, supply/contract agreement papers, etc. Only provide the most applicable.

Best of Luck

WOW...thank you so much
Can I get a work permit while on the PGD program?

Well, you already applied. All you can do now is hope for best. You can go ahead and submit the landed property documents via webform. I personally don't consider them a game changer especially if it doesn't belong to the applicant, but it certainly won't have a negative effect on one's application so one might as well include if it's available.
The best home tie remains long-term prospect in home country. It has to be addressed in the SOP. Order for your GCMS note to see remarks of the officer.

You can keep contacting the clinic or checking if you can be lucky to get an available slot for unknown reasons....

Alternatively even if though its almost impossible, you can liaise with someone you know that has an appointment for month that isn't really urgent for him/her...

Peace
