Hello everyone

Please i want to clarify something... I have submitted an application for a study permit, Postgraduate degree and my 11 months old child is accompanying me, my husband is my primary sponsor and my brother (A Canadian Citizen) is my co-sponsor. My husband submitted his "Mybankstament" with a closing balance of 10,047,00 and my brother (A Canadian Citizen) also attached his documents including his Salary account.

The questions are;

* What are the requirements for NSE?
* Is the closing balance sufficient for a postgraduate program? Although i have paid 8,600 CAD as part of the tuition.
* My brother submitted the application in Canada, is it a red flag?
And finally
*How long does it take to receive NSE request letter?

Thanks everyone as i await your swift response.
* MyBankStatement certificate and IELTS
* It should be sufficient considering you also submitted your brother's account
* Very insignificant
* The whole NSE scheme is shambolic. However, since you already provided MyBankStatement certificate, they might just request for IELTS if you didn't provide it. There's no timeframe for the request.

We can say you will get your decision before your resumption and you wont. Even those that applied before May 15, not sure they will fulfil their promise to grant decisions before August 6th.

Some of us have been waiting since March, mine April. While some applied in May and got their decisions before us.

This breakfast, it will reach most of us but you have to have a hard mind. You may defer once you are sure you can’t meet the deadline. Check your acceptance if there’s a deadline to turn in your study permit approval.

Good luck!

What is the right thing to do if one can’t secure visa before resumption date

You're good then. Just disclose only the recent schooling destination. You must provide a good reason for wanting a change.

Hello Everyone,
For those who did their Medicals at IOM Lagos.

Is it a must to pay physically through a Standard Chartered Bank Branch for the Medical Appointment or would a Mobile Bank transfer suffice?

There's currently no Standard Chartered Bank Branch close-by and I would be entering Lag on a weekend against my appointment on a Monday.

It was a ghost update when my eligibility started 6th of july.. Next day being 7th of July I received an email for Bvl, then on the 16th of July I got my ppr
Teenie19:
Is the updated date showing as July 6? If yes, wow..that was the exact date you said they started your eligibility.

Did you get a ghost update on that date or they emailed you?

Big congrats again!!!

You cannot pay your visa fee using Nigerian ATM cards because of the $100 maximum use per month pegged by CBN , you have to get dollar account/atm card.
