The new polling among Republicans is that Trump followed by Pence and Desantis are the favorites for 2024 Republican Presidential primary fights. I am grinning from ear to ear about this news. What has trump the racist got to give to Americans again except hatred, bigotry, xenophobia, divisiness and buffonery. Interesting years ahead.

Of course he can't give it close to the way you give it. Trump can take a lesson or two from you. Just saying

Enugurangers:

You said he ended it which is 100% wrong.
Thanks for clarifying that he didn't. People reading could have been misled by the misinformation.

The exercutive order you were talking about was very socialist in nature. i.e. to allow funds to be used in granting emergency learning scholarship to disadvantaged families due to closure caused by public health orders during the pandemic.

In fact, it appears Trump is aware of discrimination in education. He said in the order that Low income zip codes, students maths progress decreased by nearly 50 percent while school buildings were closed in the spring, and the maths progress of students in middle income family fell by almost a third during the same period. A recent analysis projected that, if in-person classes do not fully resume until January 2021, Hispanic, black and low income students will lose 9.2, 10.3, and 12.4 months of learning, respectively.

Of course, the poor can't afford private tutors so he has to help them. He was really vocal about this school choice problem and I thought he ended it and I have made this claim here several times but it's good you made me look into it once again.

Yes he was very vocal about it. I think he chose the wrong choice of word as the "school choice" meant something else.
Whichever way, helping the less privilege was a good initiative on his part.

Its not discrimination oooo. It is wrong but not discrimination. If you live in a poor area, whether you be bill gate son or Obama daughter, you must attend schools in your district that's the law trump was trying to end.

Firstly Trump didn't end this.

Secondly, no country will want a situation where people leave their area to go to schools far away on the premise the school is better as that will disadvantage pupils and parents at close proximity to the school meaning they have to travel far because someone from another neighborhood took their school place, throwing their morning routine out of order by having to travel left, right and centre.

Thirdly, in the UK, all schools are funded at the same rate per pupil.

What makes schools good is the aspirations of the students families, not due to funding disparities.

It would be absolute lunacy and disruption to let students pick their schools irrespective of their catchment area where they reside. This will leave some areas oversubscribed and others undersubscribed undermining reasonable access to education for all.

Whoever wants their child to go to a good school should move to a good area, or be prepared to pay for.private education. This is the hustle of all parents since time immemorial.

Maximum lesson to US female soccer woketards as they were drubbed 3-0 by the Swedes, to wit:

Kneeling is "dumb" warm-up to play soccer.

The Swedes knelt too, but it was copy-cat kneeling to honour the visiting American woketards, as I have not heard that the Swedes are protesting their national anthem and flag.

Or was it Trump's fault?

Foolish talk. So they both knelt but one is woke and the other is not?

Sweden is a good team and a tolerant society. Also a very "leftist society". Kudos to them. Stockholm is made of 7 islands of which one, Djugardens is designated as an environmental area with no cars or heavy traffic allowed. Umudike Republicans struggling for Visa can never enjoy something as beautiful as that place

I and Enugurangers has clarified that trump did not end the school choice.

Ibime what's wrong with more choice? If they can go to their school in their area fine if they can go far away fine. The system is funded by property tax and you know the rest. Rich, middle class and poor neighborhoods.how good their schools are funded is dependent on their property tax.

The US and UK does not have the same system.

They see it as theft if you go to a school outside your district. This has nothing to with skin color or ethnicity. It is the same or kinda same thing here. Rich people tend to live at the GRA etc and poor people live at poor areas. The rich will remain or get rich because of all they benefit while the poor remains poor because of lack of adequate funds in their education system. This affects all race and ethnicity so don't make it a systemic racism affecting blacks
The rich can move to take advantage of better funded schools while the poor can't. That is exactly the consequence of systematic discrimination!, and goverment should not encourage it unless it is their intention to segregate.

I am suprised you have not connected this to Biden's white child in class with a black child yet. This economic/educational segregation is a form if the same thing.

USA always do things funny. What needs to change then is the funding regime, not students travelling all over the State to find schools and leaving other areas deserted of schools. Imagine everyone wants to go to one school, the finality of such a policy will be one school with a million students and other schools with only a handful of students

Ibime, do not believe the crap that incosequential coon is telling you. He and his fellow Coons will take one or two cases and makes it like that's what is going on in a country of almost 350 million people. That's why i always try to shame the shameless coons that they know nothing but they yell the most. Most people send their children to schools in their communities unlike the garbage these Umudikeans who loves to parrot the junks they get from Nazi blogs so they can denigrate African Americans. Let single one of these loudmouths tell us their personal experiences of kids going to different States or Cities outside of their domain to school. Idiotic obsessed bunch that are clueless about a country they devotes their time on.

You went from systemic racism to systemic discrimination. In life money talks and its a sad reality. School choice is the only way to address this. If those poor wants to enjoy all that then they should afford it. There is a reason rich people live in a pent house while the poor live in the basement. It is all about affordability. I want to buy Lamborghini but unfortunately I had to settle for a Lexus.

Indeed they do nonsense grin United States makes me wonder sometimes. I don't know why democrats and Republicans can't solve this actual and serious issue which is the only system of discrimination I see today and it is about the rich and poor.

Schools usually have capacity and seats which students can fill. When that's the case, student can use their second choice. I think the government should really do something about funding these public schools. Education from primary to secondary is the most important. After secondary school I believe anyone can learn anything by themselves without going to the university

Racism is discrimination, and systemic when systemic.

Government money must be equitably distributed, and where its not we must make it. Hence BLM and CRT.

Just heard that the Phoenix Suns refused to concede to Milwaukee Bucks for winning the NBA Championship hoping for a recount because Phoenix Suns believe that the Championship games was rigged in favor of Milwaukee Bucks. What the hell is wrong with the State of Arizona with recounts.

Well it is true that schools are primarily funded by property taxes, however I don't know the detail. It could be that the property taxes are aggregated by the local Government and then distributed on an equitable basis among all schools in their locality to equalise things, so I can't jump to conclusions without knowing how money is split

Brainstem, Phoenix Suns are now contesting the Championship game they lost saying it was rigged in favor of Milwaukee Bucks by the power to be. The game was last night and i doubt if you have electricity in your hut in Umudike to see the game. Anyway, the recounts will start tomorrow and that should make the incosequential coons like you on Nairaland happy.

Most schools in America except for private and missionary schools like the parochial schools my children attended are locally funded by the Counties and Cities. Most do get some kind of financial help from the State Governments and Federal Government because of the State and Federal mandates they have to follow. The tax paying citizens of the counties and cities paid mostly to fund the schools in their jurisdictions.

You don't know what the fvck you are talking about. There are different types of taxes we pay to Counties and Cities that goes toward funding not only schools but healthcare and infrastructures. We pay local taxes on anything we buy apart from real estate taxes and part of the state taxes we pay will be returned by to the counties and cities to fund their programs including city workers that includes Police officers, Firefighters and so many other employed by the County and City.

I am yet to see the Qultist attack Biden the way they attack Harris. It seems they want to damage any future ambition she has for the presidency as they did for Hillary Clinton.

Instead of the idiot to see their misogyny and racism in full display he is busy cheering them on and showing pictures.
