Behold the Super Tuc!

Yes, it can OBVIOUSLY take out an F 5 any day of the week incl. Sundays AND public holidays not to mention Christmas and Idd.

Super Tucano at 592 Km/h will take on F5 at 1740Km/h?
Super Tucano will dogfight with a Mach1+ jet fighter and shoot it down with its cannons?
Compare the gs possible with Super Tucano and F5. The Super Tucano won't allow you to do more than 7gs. F5 maximum is 7.3gs

These motivational speakers should all be arrested.

IIRC, a poster here said " you must constantly EXPLAIN the obvious!" NOBODY gets sarcasm or irony . At LEAST one guy gets it! AIN'T no FKn way a Super Tuc COULD EVER take on an F 5 except in the feverish imagination of some posters.

See the posting history of the MENSA member who's too limited to post ANYTHING remotely intelligent. When it comes to the KDF he doubles down on the 'tardation.

Sometimes I WONDER if Naijjan mums know what their little niggas are up to online.
The KA aviation unit was set up wayyyyy back in '79 with 35 KD 500s and 4 yrs ago upgraded to the bigger 530s.

The NA on the other hand is still struggling to set up an equivalent unit-AFTER ALL THIS TIME!?
Personally. I come here to celebrate African militaries, Whatever good there is, be it doctrine, equipment, battles, culture.. etc. but with the nature of humans, I can understand that sometimes we get competitive and we start comparing things and everyone ends up claiming or believing theirs is the best depending on who you ask.... which ends up in people throwing banter every now and then which is understandable. What I don't appreciate is someone throwing completely unwarranted insults like "unexposed Kenyan safari people who are armed with spare (did he mean spear?)" on a discussion that wasn't even about Kenya, WTF!

Special Forces and paratroopers. I wouldn't call Paras regular troops.
It's Phase 1 of the SADC mission which is supposed to be reconnaissance, intelligence gathering, surveillance and setting up the C2 structures for the rest of the SADC brigade.

So the Paras are meant as QRF/backup should the SF teams run into trouble.

Unconfirmed reports have it that SA has also deployed additional troops as support to SF, most likely also Paras.

WTF EXACTLY is behind this Moz' f'ery? Ofc, ISIS is operating in the oil rich North-dunhhh!

The aftermath of the siege of Palma is adding to the humanitarian crisis in northern Mozambique. An estimated 700,000 people have been displaced and more than 2,600 killed in the conflict against the extremist rebels, according to the U.N.

That's SERIOUS FCKAGE by any means. No way in hell those are spontaneous religious militia.

I have my own theories and they start with:
1) if I lived in Cabo Delgado, I would also pick up arms;

2) there's a reason the authorities in Maputo have been so reluctant to invoke the SADC Mutual Assistance Treaty, inviting Russian PMC (comprehensively defeated), and now Rwandese;

3) look at which powers aren't sharing in the bonanza;

4) the drug trade from Pakistan, which uses Cabo, with collaborators in high offices in Moz, to smuggle heroin to SA and beyond.

And forumers insist I'm the conspiracy theorist! Flesh it out more if you can. I did hear some yrs ago Pakistanis were behind some farm attacks to produce drugs.

When we were doing anti-piracy patrols in Moz and Tanzania, we sent a sub out there for 40 days. The evidence of drug smuggling gathered was enough for Mozambique to complain that "covert" intelligence gathering wasn't part of the agreement. They soon allowed the patrol agreement to lapse.

They're squirming now because the full SADC deployment will contain a sub element.

Games are being played here.

Oh.... That's fantastic.

Can you also confirm if the Mwari has been deployed there?

I think I read an article saying the aircraft is deployed along with the Rwandan contingent.

Can't confirm anything. I too rely on open sources. And yes, the Paramount Mwari has been deployed. Most likely by Moz, not Rwanda. In line with Moz currently acquiring lots of assets from Paramount.

21 SA Infantry Battalion (21 SAI) has been on Jungle warfare training for 12 months to replace 15 SAI in the DRC. We strive for proper rotation: one battalion in the field, 1 in training and 1 in rest (which allows troops to maintain family life and go on courses for career advancement).
Deployment outside the country is 12 months and internally, 6 months.

Anyway, Jungle Warfare training encompasses the following:

• River Crossing;
• Map reading/ GPS;
• Battlefield/Tactical Intelligence and Drone Training;
• Field Craft;
• Advanced UAV Training;
• Mass Evacuation/Casualty;
• Base Protection;
• Vehicle and Foot Patrols (urban and rural);
• Jungle Warfare Orientation;
• Platoon Offensive Battle Drills;
• Fighting in built up areas and
• Helicopter Drills.

On completion of the training 21 SA Infantry Battalion will be handed over to Joint Operations for Mission Readiness Training (MRT) and/or employment to the Area of Operations.
