BONI FOREST, LAMU COUNTY TODAY.

Field Training Exercise which is a part of the Kenyan Government approach to deliver security services by leveraging on interporability of Kenya's security assets.

It's coordinated by KDF and brings teams from several security organizations in Kenya like Kenya Police, KWS, NYS, KFS & KCG.5yrs ago the Boni enclave was an Al-Shabab area operation.

alshabaab had been aiming to establish an insurgency within kenyas landmass in boni forest along somali border similar to what happened in mozambique, so far a failed attempt
president uhuru was on ground zero asserting the success in flushing out the small pockets of insurgents by the multi agency team,

Our vaccination seems to be picking up.
Phase 1 was health care workers;
Phase 2a was over 60s;
Phase 2b was over 50s;
Phase 3 was teachers, police, military and prisons;
Phase 4 currently is over 35s.

And in other news we're now locally producing both Johnson & Johnson (1 jab) and Pfizer (2 jabs) vaccines for SA, the African continent and elsewhere in the world (for poorer countries sourcing through the COVAX facility).

Wow, this would be serious fatigue on the part of the pilots and on the aircraft engines within the few days.
Alot of stop overs with little time to rest.

There's nothing to borrow here that Nigeria already has or is currently doing.

Why have a rickety border fence that fails half the time (Al Shabaab shooting and blowing up Nairobi annually & controlling the Mombasa underground) when you can have guarded militery checkpoints/bases being surveyed by personnel, overheard drones, and field cameras?

On hand to receive the aircraft were the Hon. Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (Rtd), Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya and Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Oladayo Amao”.

Following the successful delivery of this batch of Tucanos, what next for the Nigerian Air Force?

The Air Force were recently giving nearly 1 billion dollars in additional funding, different from the initial funding in 2021 budget.

This additional fund goes specifically to capital projects, no salaries.

What are we to expect?

Alpha Jets need to be replaced

Additional attack helicopters are required

Additional MI-17 helicopters are needed.

Light and medium tactical transport aircrafts also needed.

A minimum squadron of modern 4th Gen fighter jets are also needed.

So what would it be for NAF??

I think we should pay for the MI-35 & Mi-17 respectively, part payment if not all and get additional jf 17.

What about transport aircrafts?

How do we resupply our soldiers and aircrafts if we don't have adequate transport aircrafts?

If we can get at least 24 UCAVs, that would be perfect.

And we need another Air Force base in Borno, one that is very close to the center of all the hot zone. This base will only house UCAVs.
