mine i think was majorly cos i did not give a reason for rejecting the request, or maybe i should just have ignored it without saying anything. my bank was on the list of mybankstatement users so in their head, what is the excuse.

it may not be something to be scared about. i just stressed the fact that from research, they really like to see cash naira or dollar, fixed deps and co documents are preferred maybe for 2nd year if course is 2 years.

this is just my opinion and experience it does not mean i am totally correct.

dotoracs:
Hmmm... This scares me cos I have my POF in mutual funds and bonds. That can be liquidated at the earliest instance.

this may be a red flag. i may be wrong. so while you are studying, and probably working in canada for 20 hours, you will still have an obligation to your employer here. i mean, its abit off. if you did not get a study leave, the alternative is to prove how you can easily reintegrate when you get back or your employer even writing that they will be willing to give you your job back or something.

Does one going for undergraduate Studies need to show proof of study leave too?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 19 by RollyA(f): 6:14pm On Jul 26, 2021
undergrad may not work. it is not logical for any employer to give you study leave for more than 1 year if you ask me

PPR Alert! (Sister's application) April 26 Applicant

Timeline coming soon...

In the mean time, I need help sending the pp to the Vac office.

1) Can she send her pp to Abuja (note, biometric was done in Lagos).

2) Saw this on the website "the visa application centre (VAC) fees (VACs charge service fees to send your passport to the visa office);
"
How much is she expected to pay or is this fee the same as the biometric fee?

3) Is a return envelope needed when sending the pp or we have to pay the VAC 1 way courier fee (N12,750)?

Guru in the house, HELP ooooo

Congratulations to your sister, it ended in praise

I submitted employment letter that didn’t state when employment ends, worker’s id (didn’t have an expiry date)

Does your sponsor have other dependents?

If he does, that's the reason.

8 million naira is small if sponsor has other dependents.

That's it sis...a closing balance of 8 million is not enough. Especially for some one with 4 kids.

Please order for your GCMS notes to know the exact concern of the VO but the 8M should have been enough to sponsor you with your initial payment.
My first application was refused on the same reason too, the VO had concern on the duration of my course and lump sum in the account provided. My admission letter states 2 years for Msc, meanwhile, my program is 1 year so I only provided fund for 1 year. What I did is to provide a direct link to my website program where it's is stated that my program is one year and also tacked the lump sum. I am still waiting for my PPR!
You might find out that you refusal is not related to the charge back

Sorry about this. It’s good to get your gcms note and know what the VO want. It may be insufficient funds. I just got my past refusal note and d VO was concerned that the funds demonstrated (35k Cad) was not sufficient to pay for my studies and also for my families in Nigeria. This is shocking considering my spouse is working and still making enough to cater for the family. I also paid 8k+ from my first semester tuition.
Repackage ur application, get co sponsor if possible and let them pay your LE into ur acct as commitment. May God help us all to get our PPR

yea my wife got that too.. she got study leave with pay and explain that the company has given her the leverage to create systems that can enable her monitor, address solutions in proxy..this was clearly stated in her letter that she is also welcome back upon return from studies...Most detailed explanation came in the LOE

dont beat around the bush ..just apply for gcms notes and you will have clarity on the best way forward.....my only guess might be lump sum since you had an MBS which can be easily verified .

I don't think it will be enough 8million is about c$24k
About 7.5k tuition is remaining
C$10k for feeding and board
C$5k for other expenses
It will remain about 2k to take care of 3 other siblings. Add more money and refire

How many siblings do you have?
How many dependants does your sponsor have?
That may be the break tie. 8m is not enough if the sponsor's dependants are more than 2.

You may need a co sponsor. And have to pay full tuition.
