I think i tried going to Bonny from this jetty sometime ( I believe it is in PH) and our engine failed before we hit the sea, i aborted the trip. I had chartered a double engine boat as i was on official trip. However I had visited Nembe through Yenegoa ( I went to Sangana, Oluasiri, Tengele-Ama and a number of other islands on that trip). I concur with the person that posted that the ladies in that environment are pitch dark, I do not think its derogatory, I actually liked their complexion and still do. I experienced first hand the degradation of their environment. I struggled to find fresh fish to eat at Nembe. They were clear about the fact that the fishes are no longer in the waters because of the oil companies operations in that environment.
