What do you mean?
The policeman pointed his rifle to the victim, with the intention to kill. There is nothing like accidental discharge. Nothing would had happened if the policeman didn't pull the trigger. The policeman should know better, not to "play" with his rifle
I have seen a situation of this kind many times, had it been he continued on his way would the officer even notice that he came to watch ball?
I have seen sars officers pull trigger with the mindset that nothing is in the chamber. He was pulling pressing it like shebi nah gun

There is no reason justifying pulling the trigger on the citizen you swore to protect. That is murder.

It is not about political correctness,it is just that I am looking for an explanation as to why we always think that the police has never done anything right

Oga the only political correct thing is that, if Nigerian police don't get their acts right, they will be a basis for a civil war, that will see the southern region come together to execute, because you can only oppress people for a while, before they retaliate.
I assure you, if the Nigerian police were acting right, there wouldn't be much local support for ESN/UGM attacking police.

So far in exercises against Rafales in air-air combat the JF-17 has performed better in certain parameters than the F-16 in Pakistani inventory scoring more hits against the Rafale.

The JF-17 performed better in exercises against the Rafale? Sorry, i cannot believe this. Do you have a reliable source for this claims?

Just by looks at the data i strongly believe the Rafale is a better aircraft in all aspects - not even comparable to the JF-17. Can you elaborate what systems in the JF-17 has that are not present in the Rafale R4?

Scour the internet some of these things are open source intelligence. Other things I can't divulge. I'm busy except when I have time which I can't say. Besides before you jump to the Rafale 4, I was talking of the basic Rafale model not having certain elements already incorporated into the JF-17 which the more advanced Rafale variants not yet in service with French Air Force are set to have.

And you have to believe it. The JF-17 Thunder in recent exercises outmaneuvered the Rafale. Now there are factors like pilot proficiency that can also contribute to that besides jet performance which clearly the JF-17 excelled.

Performed better against Rafale than some F16s. English is not our mother tongue but this is simple enough to understand. Two single engined aircraft compared against Rafale. I am pretty sure not one of the late modeled F16s.

It was in Turkey, jf 17 vs Qatari Rafael....it was in wvr merge....the thing is that most of these scenarios aren't always combat realistic...but at least you learn something from other air forces.
There is speculation that Pakistani pilots have been flying qatari rafale jets, to know the aircraft better and even flown them in france( I can't remember the details), even before Indian jets were delivered and the Indians are protesting. In a realistic scenario, the Rafael would destroy the jf17

Why would the Rafale destroy the JF-17 in a realistic scenario? I guess by realistic u mean BVR. Btw in exercises you demonstrate as realistic as possible a combat engagement. Facts don't lie the Pakistanis won. Period.

Twin engines are mostly for range and or altitude doesn't mean they defeat a single engine aircraft. It's more about the sensors you have on board and pilot proficiency. And if you read more carefully I said F-16s in Pakistani inventory. Not too hard to glimpse.

WVR combat (dogfighting) is not going to be happening unless you have stealth against stealth. Even then, how are you going to be sure you are not going against a machine (unmanned air superiority aircraft). Eventually, I think Russia has the answer to everything with its hypersonic missile technology.

NIGERIAN NAVY HANDS OVER CONVICTED PIRATES TO NIGERIA CORRECTIONAL SERVICES

The Nigerian Navy has handed over the 10 pirates convicted by Federal High Court Ikoyi for the hijack of FV HAILUFENG II to the Nigeria Correctional Service, Kirikiri, Lagos. The hands over ceremony took place yesterday Tuesday 27 July 2021 at about 1205 noon. It could be recalled that a Nigerian Federal High Court had sentenced 10 pirates involved in the 2020 hijack of a merchant vessel FV HAILUFENG II to 12 years imprisonment each with a fine of N1,000,000.00.

Delivering his judgment, Justice Faji said the Federal Government proved beyond reasonable doubt that the pirates did hijack the vessel, FV HAILUFENG II, belonging to Haina Fishing Company. The judge held: “I agree with the prosecution counsel, Labaran Magaji that the prosecution has proved the essential ingredients of the offence committed by each of the defendants; the defendants conspired to commit the illegal act. “All the defendants acted in hijacking the ship to achieve their common goal. “Consequently I find each of the defendants guilty as charged on all the counts. “Each defendant is hereby sentenced to 12 years imprisonment. “In addition, the defendants should pay a fine of N1million each. “The offence committed by the defendants affects the wellbeing of Nigerians and our image in the diaspora. “The naira sum, dollars, and various currencies recovered from the defendants by the Nigerian Navy are hereby forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.”

In his submission, the lead prosecution counsel, Mr Labaran Magaji averred that the verdict would send a strong warning to other criminal elements that Nigeria has zero tolerance for maritime criminals and that Nigerian institutions, both Nigerian Navy, prosecuting agencies and security agencies are ready to counter criminal activities. The defence counsel has promised to appeal the judgment.

On 15 May 2020, the Nigerian Navy rescued 18 crew members on board a Chinese vessel, FV HAILUFENG II after a pirate attack. Subsequently, 10 suspects were charged before the Federal High Court, Ikoyi. The suspects were charged to 4 counts on piracy with the offence contravening the provisions of Section 3, 10 and 12 of the Suppression of Piracy and Other Maritime Offences Act 2019. The defendants included Frank Abaka, Jude Ebaragha, Shina Alolo, Joshua Iwiki, David Akinseye, Ahmed Toyin, Shobajo Saheed, Adekole Philip, Matthew Masi, and Bright Agbedeyi.

12 AH-1 Cobra attack helicopters and accompanying defence systems to the Nigerian military

Could this helicopters be for the NA Aviation Wing ! Thank God they allowed the Super Tucanos to be dekivered, hopefully the remaining batch would be delivered in due time.
If the US is not selling why can't we go to China or Russia, why must it be the United States. Am fucking tired with all these there sanctions and blocking of military hardware procurement, even when you have your money. Let's buy else where cool
