I did once long time back posted ( then deleted ) about the drugs syndicate in SA , very unique and complicated ( too many players or rather collaboration between too many players ) in how it came about to be as i also did allude to how it came to be in Nigeria through it was pretty straight forward there

Just for the sake of conversation the most apt foot soldiers of any foreign agency is the criminal class , you create them , keep them employed , you earn from them as well as can make use them for your organizational purposes as u deem fit as and when required

Nice arrangement isn't it

Everyone is a CIA agent. Damn ironical you are

ACTUALLY true! I know the spouse of a CIA agent active here in Kenya the wider Great Lakes and OCCASIONALLY China.
I can tell you most MSM people,NGO workers and senior high level private sector individuals WORLD WIDE work for the CIA and their Israeli and Brit Anglo Jewish subsidiaries.
They may not know it which serves to increase their efficiency. Think: how many times have you seen word for word articles in the local press 'explaining' the ME situation?
Why has there been to detailed counterfactual investigation into the real events of Rwanda April 94, 911 or the Westgate attack. The last was ESPECIALLY obvious owned as it was by Frank Lowy co owner of the WTC .

Mr. Silverstein in 2001 was close friends with Frank Lowy, the Westfield Corp. chairman when they decided to jointly bid on the World Trade Center. They took control less than two months before the Sept. 11 terrorist attack destroyed it.

How many cobras is available with Kenya ?

Was supposed to be a full squadron of 12 ex Israeli birds given to Jordan in 2013 but 6 were delivered to the KAF to the best of my knowledge.
Should've been given to 50 aircav, though. Idk why the KAF got them.

21 SA Infantry Battalion (21 SAI) has been on Jungle warfare training for 12 months to replace 15 SAI in the DRC. We strive for proper rotation: one battalion in the field, 1 in training and 1 in rest (which allows troops to maintain family life and go on courses for career advancement).
Deployment outside the country is 12 months and internally, 6 months.

Anyway, Jungle Warfare training encompasses the following:

• River Crossing;
• Map reading/ GPS;
• Battlefield/Tactical Intelligence and Drone Training;
• Field Craft;
• Advanced UAV Training;
• Mass Evacuation/Casualty;
• Base Protection;
• Vehicle and Foot Patrols (urban and rural);
• Jungle Warfare Orientation;
• Platoon Offensive Battle Drills;
• Fighting in built up areas and
• Helicopter Drills.

On completion of the training 21 SA Infantry Battalion will be handed over to Joint Operations for Mission Readiness Training (MRT) and/or employment to the Area of Operations.

1/3...

Will the DRC ever be able to train its a units so comprehensively? Sadly, as long as the Congolese remain Congolese, I THINK not!

Jordan wants to give Nigeria some Cobras along with about 200 APCs. I hope Biden does not block Cobras. Nigerians helped get him elected, there should be mutual back scratching.

Cutlass Express 21 will be happening at the coast of Mombasa in East Africa this year.

https://www.c6f.navy.mil/Press-Room/News/News-Display/Article/2708804/the-multinational-maritime-exercise-cutlass-express-21-begins-in-mombasa/

___________

. The exercise will improve Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), information sharing between Maritime Operation Centers (MOCs), maritime interdiction, adherence to the rule of law, and counter-proliferation interdiction capabilities in order to strengthen safety and security in East Africa.

The exercise begins with an in-port training period followed by at-sea scenarios and concludes with a senior leadership symposium. The underway portion of the exercise tests the ship’s abilities to conduct maritime interdiction operations (MIO) by boarding teams against simulated suspect vessels, detecting illicit activity, and follow-on evidence collection procedures.

The valuable operational experience gained during Cutlass Express contributes to participating countries ability to suppress and counter illegal activities, including piracy, arms trafficking, human smuggling, drug trafficking, and illegal trade in wildlife.

CE 21 is one of three U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa/U.S. Sixth Fleet -facilitated regional exercises undertaken to provide African forces and international partners with collaborative opportunities on comprehensive maritime security concerns.

Exercises like Cutlass Express in East Africa/Western Indian Ocean, Obangame Express in the Gulf of Guinea, and Phoenix Express in the Mediterranean fall under the international collaborative maritime capacity-building program Africa Partnership Station (APS) as part of a phased approach to building enduring relationships and combined capacity to ensure the safety and security of the regional maritime environment.

Participating nations in Cutlass Express 2021 include Comoros, Djibouti, Georgia, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Have seen some JF-17 block II versions in pakistan AF with air-to-air refuelling capability. (Pic1.2)

I'm sure if they need long range strikes capability , to strike outside nigeria, they can buy in the futur some of these versions or the block III , with few ilyushin 78 midas for air refueling .

But i dont think they need this capability nowdays. All threats are inside nigeria , or close to borders

Are you trying to tell me the entire bulk of the Nigerian Airforce and Army and Navy is just designed to beat internal and close to border threats. This must be a joke Mr. Are you into comedy? Almost 180,000 men and billions of dollar worth of equipment to fight bandits, Boko Haram and herdsmen yet we still fail? Ha! What you are saying is shameful to the very least. It is unbecoming. I actually thought the Nigerian Army had something better to do, that is why they do not really see Boko Haram as priority. Now I am getting to know that the entire armed forces of the federal republic of Nigeria is indeed focused on Boko Haram and they still wave their erect d1cks about in the face of all their efforts.

even the way you dey write e clear say something dey pain you.

Do you know the opposite of negative attention? Positive reinforcement, do you know the kind of people that are always seeking after positive reinforcement and approval from society? Insecure weaklings who cannot handle reality. Your comment have just exposed the lily livered and butter spined creature that you are. Why will I care about negative comments from funny online ignoramouses who think the best that their country can do for them is to buy a 1967 secondary trainer aircraft to play primary defense role in a 2021 air campaign against terror.
I am not here to get likes or massage any body's ego.

Is that what you think defense talks are all about?

Talking about people's approval like 2 year old attention starved child.

Kenya's newly appointed Chief of Defense Forces ! hour interview...

From Min 50, he was asked about the ElAdde Attack which ashabaab used VBIED, apparently now that KDF bases are secured against VBIEDs, Alshabaab is now using fvck!ng drones to drop IEDs on FOBs, KDF is having to scramble again to come up with a solution for that, fast!

Mtcheew! The thread title says "STRICTLY photos," but you guys must be MORE observant.

Another look at the Tutsi boys on the tarmac deploying to Moz'.

Their abdominal level holsters are EMPTY! How, why, WTF!? A soldiers kit is as much a part of him as his uniform: its as functional and practical as his boots or rifle.
Logically, they're untrained in handgun use and thus have no Glocks or Sigs in harness like real light infantry/spec ops.
Generally ordinary inf guys don't use pistols so these are their specops and as I'VE said many times the MAJORITY of the so-called spec ops on this thread are ANYTHING but.
Kagame's boys are playing a part, they're wearing a costume, like a child posing as a fireman.
This is how a pistol holster is arranged on the vest. If it were me I'd put it at chest level so its not TOTALLY inaccessible when taking cover.
Capisce?
