You'd have to stick with your regular appointment, or keep checking the reschedule dates on your dashboard if you haven't rescheduled before. A closer date might pop up.

I applied for two with the same MRV.
One in Lagos which I eventually cancelled and the other in Abuja.

When you log into your profile, do you see the 'reschedule' option?
If yes, when you cancel and schedule for Abuja, you cannot reschedule again till you pay another MRV fee.

If your F1 visa application was denied while you have a valid F2 visa, does it affect the F2... I mean if one can still travel back to the US with the F2 visa.

Not at all, with valid F2, you can still enter the US.

Denial could be as a result of different reasons. 1. You didn't upload important documents like the sevis fee payment receipt, i-20 etc. to buttress your request for an emergency. 2. You have been denied visa in the last six months.
