Under Obasanjo as the President, TAFA BALOGUN was the IGP, he was tried by EFCC under Nuhu Ribadu.

Chief Sunday Afolabi a chieftain of PDP from South West was tried for National ID Contract scam, he died for that trial.

Those who know what happened at SARS Lagos office at Ikeja between 2011 and 2014 are waiting for Malami and EFCC to act. However, the shielding of Peace Air Chairman from trial is another point entirely.

How does getting money to get one of his gang arrested related to the alleged $1.1M fraud. Did he partake and rendered any assistance to facilitate the fraud. I for one, we not jump into conclusion unless there are something else they are not telling us.

There have always been accusation against the man called Kyari but not taken serious even the police authority once or two times acknowlege the illegality being perpetrated by this same man. But the IGP hands were tied, he couldn't to much because of Abba established contact in the coridore of power. Now, it is coming from outside, there is little or no denial. The more he denied the more he get indicted. More evidence will start springing up both locally and internationally. Kyari, the day of payback is here.

Nigeria is a sovereign nation.

Regardless of the allegations, Nigeria should not just hand over her citizens to a foreign nation.

EFCC's responsibility is to Nigeria and Nigerians. EFCC is not supposed do FBI's bidding.
It is not an issue of the person being a police officer, but that he is a Nigerian citizen.

Can any Nigerian law enforcement agency ask the FBI to arrest a Unites States citizen? And if they are bold enough to ask, will the FBI comply?

My opinion is that Buhari should not let the FBI boss him around as far as this case is concerned.

There are history of extradition to the United States from other countries, but never from the United States to other countries.

I am not justifying what Abba Kyari did, but the United States need to regard other countries as equals as far as matters like this are concerned.

And anyone who supports Atiku and still shouts that Buhari would shield Abba Kyari is an hypocrite.

Atiku himself has refused to answer to accusations implicating him in a matter almost similar to the one now involving Kyari. He has refused to honor invitations to the United States for over a decade.

Abba Kyari should rather be dismissed if found guilty.

But Buhari should not allow him to be extradited to the United States.

Because if Abba Kyari were an American criminal whose crime had impacted Nigeria, Buhari would need to beg for the United States to even make any moves.
