Nigeria is not a sporting country. We are just pretenders, you can't claim to be a proud sporting nation and all you can boast of is a paltry all time record of 2gold medals at the Olympics.
As it stands we are unlikely to add any medal of any color at this games. Just like we returned zero medals at the London Olympics. Our bloated egos won't let us admit the obvious.

We aren't a sporting country because our government aren't investing enough in sport... talent wise, not many countries in the world can match us... It's obvious from the number of athletes of Nigeria heritage representing other countries...

What are you expecting divine Oduduru and Brume to win?

Okagbare is our biggest talent here. She's currently rated among world bests. did you see how she ran that heat without stress? She had a good chance of stealing bronze as Richardson was banned. As Okagbare too is out, even Iron medal we no go see

Yes cos after Blessing they are next we can expect a golden bronze from,

Am not too sure of Amusan

That other guy too did the same thing. What the hell was that. Someone explain to me please?

This Olympics is messing with my system. Is this discrimination or is there some rule here?

If we left Nigerian football to the government players like chukwueze osimhen nacho onyeka onuachu amoo ndidi will have never existed because they're from private academies.

The major problem is the other sports are not like football and basketball where agents can get annual commissions from players.

I don't know if athletes have agents.

Asher Smith is out. It seems she was not fit. This Olympics was Okagbare's biggest chance, and she's gone.

Seems as if those Samsung phones is at play here, or what is it am not understanding

All this is happening under Oga Sunday's watch as a sport minister, yet he can use his experience as a journalist to investigate what the fuxxk is going on

This thing is trying to get me here, and am seeing him as a smokescreen to something way bigger

Yeah, but Asher Smith is not a Nigerian BTW. She is a British athlete. Her exit and Richardson's disqualification freed up space in the 100m medal contention. So Okagbare could have hit a medal if she were still in the running.

Happy for him he's improving. My target for him this time is finals. Hopefully he would have matured and improved before the next olympics in paris.

AFN need to lodge a protest quickly and vehemently. Just reading that the other guy had a faster reaction time than disqualified Oduduru. I think there's precedent which should help Divine.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF have confirmed that the Super Eagles Team B also referred to as the Home-based Eagles will play a four-nation invitational tournament in October, this year, Bestchoicesport.com.ng can report.

NFF President, Amaju Pinnick who confimed this in a television interview with Arise News however did not provide details on the dates of the competition.

“By God’s grace, we are arranging a four-nation invitational sometime in October and they (agents) are still to sound on me on whether we should extend invitation to Canada or bring in an African team so it will be an all-African affair.

“We are working on that,” the FIFA Council member said.

Super Eagles B Team on July 4, 2021 lost 4-0 to Mexico in an international friendly match in USA.

Despite the heavy defeat suffered by the team made up of Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL players, the federation has declared its readiness to organise more competitions to keep the team together.

So after Mike Brown "we're going to win" comments, We still lost 3 games in a row. Now, I understand why Rohr is very humble at his pre game comments.
