So what you just said is synonymous to putting the cart before the horse. It is biblically unsound and very unscriptural. The day a man becomes born again, he is declared Holy by God and the Holy Spirit indwells him from that VERY DAY. The speaking in tongues (or the receiving of the anointing) is actually an evidence of an overflowing of that indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit in Us and He is there to help us live godly and obey the commands and instructions of God without struggle it stress

U didn't lose d gift of God. The gift of God is without repentance.
The holy ghost activities might reduce bcuz of no relationship , but that doesn't mean He's not there.
It's not about d name of a church, but any faith based church nd it's depends on u personally.
Building a lasting relationship with Him is what u need.

You don’t lose the Holy Spirit once you receive it. He comes to indwell in us. Once he comes, he comes. You can quench the flow, you can put out the fire and relegate him to the background to the extent you know longer feel his presence at all, either by continue indulgence in sin, refusal to heed his instructions or prayerlessness, but you don’t loss him.

All you need do, is to go into your closest, genuinely desire his fellowship again, repent of your wrongs (whichever it is) and then ask the father to reawaken the fire in you again and you will experience a fresh unction. You don’t necessarily have to change church, except you feel your church is not encouraging your prayer life and promoting a godly lifestyle

We must all be baptized.

I gave my life fully to Christ early this month, lemme add that I have been attending Church since I was little, but i believe as per say I have been attending Church means I have automatically given my life to Christ.

Lately I have been wanting the baptism of the Holy ghost since a few months now, buh honestly I was scared like really scared because of some deliverance and some spiritual stuff that happened in my secondary school.

So it happened yesterday night at church, we were having a 12 hour praise night of worship. I just said ah lemme just Go oooo. So I went sha started the service like normal prayed and praised The LORD GOD.

And then one of those singing said " the spirit of the lord is moving, is there anyone here who doesn't have the Holy spirit come out to the front.". In my mind I just dey like ogbeni not today jhoor. So while those who came out were being prayed for I just sat down and was relaxing then I felt this strange warmth and tingling, then that was how I began to speak in tongues. Praise the Lord.

Let me just add it was one of the most awesome thing I have ever experienced, like super Awesome, To say I was blessed is small, I was filled with GOD's glory. Praise the Lord.

What you experienced was being FILLED (Controlled) with the Holy Spirit. It manifests in several forms including speaking in unknown tongues, faith, prophecy etc.

We are commanded to be FILLED with the Holy Spirit (for it is under your control to do activities that will make you drunk with Him)
Eph 5:18-19:
"And do not be drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;"

Baptism of the Holy Spirit takes place ONCE in your life time (at the point of salvation).
Rom 6:4:
"Therefore we were buried with Him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised up from [the] dead by the glory of the Father; even so we also should walk in newness of life."

Eph 4:5:
"one Lord, one faith, one baptism,"

Col 2:12:
"buried with Him in baptism, in whom also you were raised through the faith of the working of God, raising Him from the dead."

Every child of God ALREADY have the Holy Spirit (He is our Seal untill the day of our redemption).

Being Baptised by the Holy Spirit is NOT a command! Being Filled is a command and it should take place as often as we live our Christian life

These long Epistles you typed . Prayers, fastings, holiness, etc are the ways of nurturing/sustaining spiritual gifts, you can also Check the story of Saul for more understanding, since you are dribbling with the scriptures I shared earlier. When Saul was annointed as king, the Spirit of God came upon him ist Sam 10:10. When he sinned the spirit of God left him, ist Samuel 16:14. If you study the passage, you will see that when Saul was annointed by Samuel, and further had encounter with the other prophets, he Saul "prophesied", meaning he received the spirit of God, gift of prophesy, etc. But same Saul later "lost it". When one receives spiritual gifts, one must try and maintain it, so as to avoid loosing it or making it dormant. Continue to deceive yourself.
