They don't prefer Lagos. It is the government's deliberate policy to undermine Port Harcourt in favour of Lagos. All our institutions are deliberately moved to Lagos.

Please let's be honest. I am from the south south. The reason the oil compaines moved to Lagos was due to insecurity. Was it not their oyibo workers that were being kidnapped a few years ago. It was getting to the point were Oyibo executives were refusing posting to Nigeria. We in the south south did ourselves, we can't blame Yoruba for this.

Dem go gree?

Can you compare Warri of 2001 to Warri of today?

How come most Multinationals have their HQs in Lagos? We should know that PIT of workers are paid to the state where they reside.

Have we forgotten so soon how insecurity nearly collapsed the entire Niger Delta.

Thank God for the peace in SS over the years. PH is picking up again now. Nothing compares to peace and security. There can't be Prosperity and investments without both.

You can patronize it too.

Some people already do.

Certainly, the Port in Rivers state isn't as strategic for business as the one in Lagos.

It is just like asking why investors will prefer Nigeria or South Africa instead of Namibia or the Central African Republic.

A chunk of the market for shippers is in Lagos. Do not forget that even though Lagos is a state in Nigeria, it is the 5th largest economy in Africa.

Lagos nor get mate for Nigeria o.

That's very good question. U see Nigeria corruption everywhere. To clear goods in pH is 5 x difficult. All our Igbo brothers in ABA close to pH still prefer Lagos port

Most of Nigeria's oil exportation is carried out at Onne Port, PH.

yoruba dirty politics, they don't want any port in the south to be used because they will lose out and look at Calabar port, supreme court governor ate the money nothing was done again. As we know it's closer traveling to North through PH or Calabar than through the west

And why is there no Cargo ship?

The Fulani NPA gang sent you to snap 3 fish trawlers, you did. And you're coming here to foam in the mouth.

It's better they turn that PH Port to an industrial swimming pool, it is totally useless.

Lagos NPA and Touts/Customs have turned shipping into a racket since they know Tin can/App is the Alpha and Omega of shipping.
lol
