In my opinion i think ronaldo does not deserve the award in 2013(he paid for it in 2018)it should be ribery but the balor d hor had lost its credibility then, same with messi in 2010&2019 sneider and van dijk deserve it in those years.

In 2010 make a case for Iniesta not Sneijder. Sneijder never deserved balon dor. Iniesta was a better player in 2010 than Sneijder. He won the world cup, league & Copa Del Rey with outstanding performances. Sneijder wasn't even the best player in inter. If Sneijder was that influential, Milito wouldn't have beaten him to the UEFA Player of the Year Award....... I keep saying it that Balon dor is based on individual performance backed up by team's achievement. I brought Neuer up because of the rubbish that niqqa said. I disagree with you on 2019. As for sneider i think he deserve the awards over messi or iniesta, he was instrumental for the successes of his club and country....let say he won the world cup over iniesta spain....i still think they would have given messi the award over him because he does not had the popularity....a ronaldo under such circumstances would have won it.

Dont compare a defender with a striker in terms of goals....he won the epl and ucl best player, two tournament that is a factor when decideing the balor d hor....which mean on a personal level he is better than messi in ucl by virtue of winning the ucl best player. He also took his national team to the final of a major tournament.
Again that was his first season thats why...a more popular defender would have won the award....i think a major factor before winning balor d hor is popularity which is not suppose to be so.

To be very sincere with you, if Argentina had won 2014 WC, nothing would have stopped Messi from winning that award. Ronaldo won because he achieved more with his team but on a personal level they were on par.

Sneijder case was a complex one. The three candidates were too strong to defeat.....if you look at the top 3 Iniesta, Xavi & Messi, who should they have dropped for him. To me, Sneijder didnt do enough break into the top 3.
