Nigeria is seriously lacking in data collection, and this does not apply to rape cases alone. The same Nigeria that the Northerners would hide their kids and wives from Census workers. How would policemen even effect the arrest of rapists or abusers in the North when women are seen as sex objects by majority of the locals?

Try contacting the FRSC to collect data on accident records and see if you would get any help from them. I did once back in 2010. Maybe they would reply next year.

You are going around in circles. You don't get to choose which facts you want to accept. The U.S. and South Africa sit a top the top 5 highest rape rates.

You are more likely to be murdered in Chicago than in Port Harcourt and twice more likely to be murdered in St. Louis. These are not facts I wrote - these are facts that have been reviewed and reposted by creditable sources.

Still the 5000MW doesn't find its way to homes and industries as it should, due to the dilapidated transmission and distribution systems. Abeg this is a topic for another day.

I saw a case on Nairaland recently where a young lady went to het boyfriend's place and he forcefully had sex with the lady and 90% of the comments were heaping abuses on the lady. “I was told I would need a liver transplant or else I would die. Again, my family prepared for the worst,” he said. Mr Byrd received a new liver on 12 June.

"It is a disease that wants to kill us. Please take it seriously. Please consider getting vaccinated. This is an issue that should not divide us.”
