I just saw something on this on Sahara Reporter but the induction date was supposed to be August 3, yesterday. Perhaps, they have already done it without notifying anyone.

No fewer than eight persons have been murdered in Mgbuji community, Eha-Amufu, Isi-Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The ambush carried out by herdsmen also left hectares of farmland destroyed with a number of residents missing.

The community has linked the attack to threats by herdsmen who reportedly blamed Nnamdi Kanu and the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for their action.


It was gathered that the casualty figure may rise due to the number of persons injured.

An eye witness, Chinaza Akan, told The Sun that one of the casualties was a pregnant woman. Her stomach was opened and the fetus removed.

The latest incident occurred Sunday afternoon between the community’s border with the Benue community.

Bishop of Anglican Diocese of Eha-Amufu, Rt Rev Daniel Nkemjika Olinya, confirmed the attack.


The cleric said it was the third time violent herdsmen invaded Mgbuji community in 2021.

“The last before this Sunday’s led to the death of six people. Five of them have not been buried. They came again this time and killed eight persons,” he said.

Olinya further linked the killings to the eviction notice given to the herdsmen.

“Some of those kidnapped and released said the herdsmen insisted that they would continue there until IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, dropped his agitations for Biafra,” he said.

The Bishop recalled that the Police came on Monday to take the corpses away but were resisted.

The community people insisted that the operatives sign an undertaking to release the corpses to the family members for burial.

The Enugu Command has commenced investigation of the renewed attacks.

For once i've never seen that guy as intelligent as he is being potrayed, I remember making a post here sometimes last year that there is nothing special about what Abba Kyari and his team is doing(did) that other units within the same police force if given the right equipment won't do. In nigeria being a super cop or Intels oficer or any other orishirishi names is based on how brutal you can be, how efficient you are in remitting extortions to the ogas at the top and other shenanigans. Any sincere person knows that the best Police unit presently in the NPF is the RRS guys in lagos especially under the command of Tunji Disu, even the Evans arrest that Abba Kyari positioned himself to steal the spot light was majorly done by Tunji Disu. On this Kyari case with FBI you people will be surprised that many senior police officers are in this ring including IGPs when investigations are fully made known, same man that have being accused severally about human rights abuse, extra judicial killings, extortions etc even before this whole FBI saga no one bothered to investigate, he was even given double promotion, same person Evans the kidnapper accused of converting his properties. Well until we begin to ask pertinent questions on how public servants amass the kind of wealth they flaunt/have we will keep going in circles, just a simple forensic analysis of his bank details, call logs will expose alot about him but we aint ready sha. We saw how the then commissioner of police (Mohammed Wakil) in Kano was eased off his duties during the elections because of the obvious only for the Super Cop to come in and get the job done.
