Please, do NOT take this advice...Failure should never be a benchmark, not in ehailing, not in any biz or any aspect of life....

There is a popular saying that encourage folks to aim for the stars, if you dont get there, you will, atleast land on the moon..

I will assume you're just cruising, but if you're not, damn it! You've got a very poor and negative outlook to life, albeit success. #No apologies
actually, his advice is spot on. You hope for the best and prepare for the worst. You do a pessimistic, optimistic and average forecast when business planning. Not doing this is why so many businesses fail.

I was wondering what they are arguing with eyinola for cuz it was a str8 way to plan ahead. When it is at the lowest how much do I make, I don’t plan business looking at cheerfulgiver table to plot mine. I look at the lowest table then work around the mistake he his making to launch mine.

when I say tip I don't mean 1k or 2k not even 5k bro, and u never know how much i was earning when I say I don't touch my salary, everybody wants to push and that's the reason why mysef left the job and mind u i didn't left the job for uber, the same job i left was whr i bought my car which i am still using today, the same job was what gave me my first travelling experience to dubai for vacation. My point is for those earning above average 200K and above don't leave ur work for uber if u are earning less u can consider it ..for those saying nobody should follow my advice am not here to advice anyone and am not here to take anyones advice either, if e sure for u resign from ur work instead of coming here to talk all the time, abi u people don't want to gross 1M in a month?
from your post you didn't leave your job willingly and you are still attached to the easy way of making cash which makes you see bolt as tedious and time wasting.... You need to know that those free perks are on your former place of work are over and you need to know that now..... I might be wrong sha...

"Those that work in shell and Chevron work hard"... I beg to disagree, the greatest work a man can do, is having fun while making money. This job get easier if u naturally like driving and back to d shell tin, some got grace by connection and for some it's just an easy ride sighting a friend for example. Book is one of the easiest thing for him, got first class from uni, work at P.W.C and now on scholarship in US, we can narrow it down to hardworking, but naturally he is doing what he love.

Sighting myself as example while working as a marine personel... what's my job? Go to dpr for to renew documents, meet vsl agents, belt vsl, liase with inspectors and witness as vsl is discharging products, file those documents and submit to pppra/ppmc. Boss those work to me are fun and command respect anywhere I enter, outside the pressure if things are not going as planned, it's nothing.

Have u even seen a work that u employ another person to do ur work? All that matter is just ur signature
Bro I understand you very well but you know that even if you don't put hard work in what you love, you won't go far. The love for the job make the stress easy for you.. in a nutshell we should find our passion and work towards it. Like me I love logistics and it give me joy When I deliver though I'm not into it but anytime I venture into it

okay, when i wanted to register my car, I was here for almost 6 months before i decided to register my car and at that time I was wondering if my 09 camry sport could do the job cos all i see here is Corolla and civic, I wake and sleep on this thread so in my head i was like even if i don't want to use this car like Corolla I shoud be able to take home 5K everyday, I started today police, tomorrow last man next LG boys because it was tough for me even using google was a bit difficult. I started with 5K target and if i don't make that 5K i won't go home now i mine still targeting 5K No cos i hv outgrown that target but can i make what cheerful giver is making? No i can't it's as simple as that

Ok, I get your point now Brov.

@ the bolded is the truth and only business-minded folks would understand what Mr Eyinola said. The Worst scenario referred to simply meant, " if e too bad, I go get (target) 5k, 10 or 100k per day/month". These are still profits but at its worst. So, no matter how bad a day's job is, Mr Eyinola's base profit starts from his intended target(5,10 or 100k per day or month). People with such mindset usually do everything humanly possible to reach this target consistently.

And no one has the right to tell such a man that he's lazy. Each individual with his own goal, purpose and problems in life and it differs amongst people. So, if you feel you're OK with 100k per month and it settles your needs and that of your family, so be it. Same goes for those with a target of a million naira. Every man with his own problem but here, some folks are using their problems to compete with the problems of others.

Connection can just come now you find yourself in one of those vsl as supervisor or discharger... My brother you go carry your tokunbo corolla dash give BAZ001 without a 2nd thought.

Lets keep giving tips on how to improve earnings by spending less hrs online rather than advising someone who earns 100k to resign and come drive uber, better still advise the person to collect a car loan from his company then drive weekends and public holidays to offset the loan. because having a paid job gives you opportunities to loan draft, travels, mortgage, among other benefits but driving uber alone hmm... My brother no level ooh.

People are Netting 10k working 5am to 2pm and some people are saying this work is hard.
I leave my house 6am daily and leave the road 2pm-2.30pm max everyday, and make 14-15k with just 4 to 5 trips.
Monday and Sunday earning are usually like 17k to 20k and close almost the same time.
My observation is that , not everyone can survive on the street.
Some enjoys office work even if it pays less.
While someone like me prefer to determine my incomes as well as managing my working hours.

Also why are people not looking in the direction of innosson motors since they claim that they are built for Nigeria roads ? I saw one that's like the size of matrix for 2.5m

Every Indriver drivers do almost the same trip as bolt driver if not more... but ask them, when was the last time deh did a trip of 5500. I have said it and I'll say it again, the current money rain on bolt is due to surge, take away the surge (tho biting is part of fight) and let's see if variable factors can exhaust fixed factors

I wanna share my horrible delivery experience….

It was around April on Friday night, I think it’s about 10pm I got a request around kusenla road the last estate on the left.

I needed a mainland trip but unfortunately for me I got Ikoyi trip. Called the guy and he told me he’s gonna call them at the gate which he did and gbam I drove to his apartment.

The guy came out and guess what brothers/sis… he fvcking came out with a sealed popcorn I mean a sealed popcorn not the regular red/yellow color oh just ordinary Osun state road side own.

Guy: hi sir you’re delivering this popcorn to my girlfriend in banana island.

Me: excuse me sir I’m not understanding you?

Guy: sir (with a smile face) you’re delivering this popcorn to my girlfriend in Ikoyi she’s craving for it.

Me: in my mind, I was like this motherfvcker is crazy…. Chief that popcorn is too whitish and probably I understand it’s a drug in it.

Me: I’ll tell you what, please don’t ever in your lifetime put innocent drivers in high risk in fact I’m doing your video right away..

Guy: please bros you can leave since you can’t go

Me: I repeat it again mr man in your lifetime don’t try it anywhere again and if you try it tonight again am gonna release your pictures for the outside world that you’re dealing with cocs…

Guy: Baba eh don do nah oya take 1k for the stress I promised not to do that anymore.

Me: I don’t need your money goodnight I roll up my window I was very mad till I got home empty…

Things Dey happen for street honestly these people are full of shit especially islands, mushin, Isolo and Ago hmmm lemme stop here.

I wanna add to the ongoing arguments between white collar job and Uber drivers.

Well only people with right minds will see life’s in different ways (why)? Not everybody will get opportunities to work in shell and not everybody will be opportune to be a Uber driver.

Whatever side of coin life thrown to you, grab it and make a big thing out of it.

Started as a white collar, once worked in this and that company was past tense. Life coin right now is we’re partners with Uber/bolt and that’s the coin for now which I’m not letting it to hold my ass down.

I wanna be the guy who drove for Uber but now have fleets of cars in it

I wanna be the guy who collected his car as HP on the high side when friends were saying it’s too much but own his car now the list goes on…

Had a friend who’s driving danfo he’s a graduate married and he doesn’t let life coin weigh him down. He’s doing well got keke for someone to be driving already .

My opinion is that everybody can’t be the same and also, even if you give some people 1Billion$ today they might still mismanage it.

I appreciate the coin of life that got thrown to me.

I’ve promised myself to make A from this hustle and looking out for better achievements ahead.

WHATEVER SITUATION YOU FIND YOURSELF, STUDY IT WELL, SIT BACK, AND MAKE GREATER THINGS OUT OF IT

I WISH EVERYONE WELL
