What other reason than say govt wants to take over their freedom which is part of anti vaxxer conspiracies, please how exactly should that be a thing, when last did you see govts make policies like this? how hard is it to understand the situation at hand.

That's the future in Western World and i read somewhere yesterday that GM and Mercedes Benz are saying all their vehicles will be all Electric by 30 years. That's why countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE are diversifying their economies away from oil. Nigeria needs to start looking for alternative now because about 90% of the economy is being prompted by oil sales.

I don't think Ill move there to electric vehicles.
A big issue to me is how far can a single charge get, and the duration it takes to charge.
Looking at simple devices like mobiles and tablets, the biggest money making invention will be an instantaneous charger. Fix this for car batteries and the market will be available.

I know about that very well. My wife bought a Tesla a year ago and she charges it at Walgreens just two blocks from our house and she gets about 325 to 350 miles per charge and that's good enough. You don't have to deal with Oil change or Transmission oil change and all the other craps. I used to be weary of it till wifey bought it but i think that's where the future is heading. Here in US, you get a special rebate when you buy an electric vehicle and that goes into several Thousands of Dollars.

Depends though. It depends on the station. Sometimes you get fast charge or slow charge and it takes about an hour or two at max. One thing about those Teslas is that it's fun to drive and very fast and quiet but the maintenance is in the high side and only Tesla can work on your vehicle.

Now my view on your brilliant question. I think electric motor will take over from internal combustion engine in small and medium size vehicles like bikes, tricycles and small saloon cars, because the power requirements to run small motors are not much. But for huge vehicles like trailers, busses and big cars, internal combustion engine will continue to rule for a long time.
Huge battery banks can be complicated and dangerous, and begins to add significant weight to the vehicle itself.

I have always wondered why we don't start experimenting with building electric keke Marwa/NAPEP, as it is a small light weight vehicle used for short distance transportation. Their garage can also serve as a charging stating.
If it's not that I am under extreme stress with the pressures of family and business this is something i would love to experiment with.

Yes that's him. My cousin Tobi is close to him and told me he has one made by Nissan called Leaf. I know Leaf is 100% electric.
